Member's Mark Pinto Beans 12 lbs.

Very clean and cook up great. I soak for about an hour then use salt and bacon drippings in the pressure cooker. Mouth watering.

Good Beans

We love pinto beans and cornbread at our southern home!  I also can pinto beans and use these for that!  Great product, great price!

Great Product

Didnt realize making your own beans would taste different from can beans! I will never buy another can if i can make them fresh!

Best dry beans

Wanted to really like these beans but they seem to have been over washed. They are really light in color and many were split in half. Many had the skins peeled off as soon as I started cooking them.

I cook a lot of dry beans. We have some grain allergies in our family, so I pour the raw beans out on a white plate in batches and check for random grains and bad beans and such. This 12 pound bag of Members Mark pinto beans was the messiest bag of beans I’ve ever sorted. There were many ?moldy? beans and even a couple of rocks. I generally buy the 20 pound bag of GV beans from the big W, so it’s not like I’m some kind of pinto bean snob. I don’t recommend this brand at this time.

Don’t recommend

A little on the crunchy side if you ask me. My wife said I should boil them before trying to eat them, she might be on to something there.
