The wood on box spring was warped and a pain to assemble due to warped wood. It also cracked in several places, even with predrilled holes. Free pillows are like bricks. For the price of entire unit I am disappointed. Bed is not as comfy as advertised. Simply not impressed nor satisfied.

We’ve had our mattress for 2 weeks. It’s easy to fall asleep on, very comfortable and does not sleep hot. I wake up a little sore sometimes, even though I sleep well on the mattress. The muscle soreness goes away quickly but it’s not something I’ve experienced with previous (coil) mattresses. That why I’m giving only four instead of five stars. I also only weigh about 100 pounds, which could contribute to how the mattress responds. I feel well supported by the mattress and no sore spots sleeping on both my side and back.

I’m a big guy and I needed something that could hold up to my size and I was skeptical at first but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this matress. It breathes better than I thought it would and I can move around on it without disturbing my wife. The only complaint I have is that I didn’t get it sooner honestly if you’re on the fence and you do tons of research like I do this is where your money needs to come to!

I so very excited to get this bed. I was even looking forward to giving this bed a postive review. I had. Nickname for the bed defore it even arrived. I was gonna call it the Holy Ghost Bed purely because I am Christian. Before purchasing this bed I researched for months trying to estimate which bed would be right for me and my wife. I take sleep pretty serious. I don't always get as much as I need so I want the sleep that I get to be very effective. I am 6'-1" and about 210 pounds and from day one it was just painful to my body. I typically end up in my side so that I don't snore but this mattress was terrible for side sleeping. It was just too firm. It didn't receive my shoulder well at all therefor creating a pressure point. After a few weeks I couldn't take it anymore and I was so tired from not getting rest that I bought a the purple mattress. I haven't looked back and now I am just waiting to send this ghost bed back. I'm 30 years old, average weight, side and stomach sleeper. I have never experienced back pain outside of when I was pregnant. Since the first night I slept on this bed, i have woken up every day with pain. Right now, I have had such terrible upper back pain that I am taking pain killers around the clock. I keep sleeping on it, hoping it will get better, but it keeps getting worse. What was just discomfort in the beginning has become nearly debilitating pain. I've tried jumping on the mattress to soften it, taking care to watch my sleeping posture, trying new sleeping positions, and adding a mattress topper. Nothing has helped. I really wanted to like this mattress, but it is terrible for me. The only positive in my case is the return policy.

My husband and I are large people and our previous mattress developed embarrassing depressions where our bodies lay. (This despite years at Weight Watchers, but I digress). Anyway, we were getting poor sleep. So after consulting Consumer Reports, we purchased a king sized Ghost Bed. It came in a relatively small box which was not hard to negotiate up the stairs. The bed was wrapped in multiple layers of plastic, which when snipped, allowed the mattress to "inflate". It was a thrill to both watch and listen to it springing to life. Also, there was absolutely NO smell and it did not take any time at all to be sleep-worthy. But the proof is in the pudding so they say, and immediately upon laying on the bed, it was clear you could hardly feel your partner turn over. Amazing! And we have been getting much better night's sleep ever since. Now if we could only do something about the cat....

Since getting this mattress, I no longer wake up with intense back pain. The first week I sort so soundly, I felt like I had caught up on all the sleep lost when my daughter was first born. I do toss and turn still but it's because laying in one position for too long makes me sore and wakes me up. But I still get s good night's sleep! The 4 star is because our mattress protector arrived a day later so we had to remake our bed after the first night. And the foundation wasn't sanded so it caused some splinters and there were drill holes missing in some boards.

The mattress was too firm for me. But that isn't why I am rating this bad. I am rating it bad because when I tried to return the mattress for the 101 day guarantee, the person I was working with would not listen. They kept pushing me to buy a new mattress or base. It took me threatening to do a charge back on my credit card to finally get a return processed after nearly 2 weeks of contact.

I purchased the foundation and king size mattress about two weeks ago and couldn't be more satisfied. Firm and supportive but not too much so, I'm sleeping great with no morning back and shoulder pain. I'm totally satisfied with the quality and price. I would highly recommend it.
