We've had the ghost bed now for several weeks. It is very firm. I thought I preferred soft beds until I slept on firm hotel beds while travelling and realized I was waking up without crippling back pain. So, after reading reviews on numerous brands of beds, I settled on ghost bed. It came with pillows due to a special sale. I also bought a mattress protector. They came in three shipments over four days. The bed was a hoot to set up. Layed it out on top the box springs, unwrapped it, and instantly it started to expand. You could hear it suckling in air. By 24 hours, it was fully expanded. No odor. Very firm. If you are thinking memory foam, it's not. You don't sink in much at all. Not hot to sleep on. My back pain is much improved. Takes two to handle as it is much heavier than a traditional mattress. And flexible! The pillows are traditional memory foam and a true queen size so standard pillow cases are too short. I'm considering adding a pretty border to my cases to make them longer. They do have a chemical smell that takes a while to disappear. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I would buy it again.

I bought a Temperpedic in the past because of my back problems. It seemed like it worked, but there was a long break-in process and once you do break it in, it feels like I'm sinking in it. This Ghost Bed mattress didn't require any of that. It's comfortable yet provides the support I need for my bad back. My wife loves it too compared to our old mattress. I'm very happy with it.

Easy process purchasing. Great comfort, however, edge support is lacking due to the the properties of the material. Pillows ate very comfortable but glad I ordered 2; I prefer thicker pillows. Mattress protectors are the best I have seen. Sheets are comfortable.

I'm Not trying to write a bad review, honestly, it was probably more of a technical misunderstanding on behalf of myself, but, the wording on the shipment notifications were confusing to me as I thought the bed was being shipped within 24hrs of my order, so after inadvertently keying in conflicting mailing and shipping address, even after correcting, I still had to call the company to clarify when my bed was actually being delivered, as well as the fed ex app.. . I did receive bed and set it up all by myself, I am 5'4" and 125# woman, albeit, strong for myself, I did manage to put the box spring together and hoist the mattress on top to unfold. As far as the box spring instructions, I don't know why they couldn't go ahead and label the right and left sides. I have NOT slept on it every night since I got it because I have to stay other locations. With that said, it is pretty firm and I'm still getting use to that, I don't sleep Real soundly very often, so it's hard to tell what's me and what's the bed. I didn't get the pillows either and wonder if they would compliment the bed and help my sleeping process. All in all I still feel it's a good purchase.

The purchase process was very simple and delivery was efficient. The mattress is very nice and thus far, I have no complaints with the mattress. I did purchase the mattress protector and I was disappointed that the it is not a GhostBed manufactured product. If I had known that, I would have bought it separately and saved quite a bit of money from what I was charged by GhostBed. Since it is not made by GB, it did ship separately and took longer to be delivered than the mattress. Other than that, the feel and sleep of the mattress is as I had researched and anticipated; it did not take long to adjust to the feel. I am very pleased with the purchase.

We recently purchased the King sized mattress and bed frame. The bed frame was not as sturdy as it should’ve been and the mattress has been nice but I came from a mattress where I had back pain that was so bad that it would wake me up and now with the Ghost bed, that’s almost gone away but I’m still having back pain laying in this bed. Bed still gets as warm as any other bed. It’s a good bed, just hyped up a little.

This bed has been a great improvement over the traditional box and spring mattress I switched from. It does a great job of relieving pressure points, especially if you struggle with back pain. My greatest nitpick about the mattress is that it doesn't offer much in terms of cooling, so if you are naturally warmer then be prepared to feel like you are on fire after laying on the bed for an extended period of time. It's a bit uncomfortable so the big mystery is why the foam is like this and what solutions are available to offer some sort of cooling when using recommended mattress protector and just a normal sheet set. Would I recommend to others? Maybe.

Ok, so my wife got Ghostbed pillows about 2-3 years ago and loves them just as much today as she did when they came in the mail. We moved and in the process, the movers got gas all over our old mattress. So, went online and ordered a GhostBed mattress. We already had an adjustable base and it works perfectly with it! My wife is a light sleeper and whenever a dog or myself shifted in bed, she'd wake with our old mattress.To test the shock absorption of this one, we let our 7 year old do his best to make us feel him jumping on it. WE FELT NOTHING! The mattress is medium firmness to a little more. I'd give a 6 or 7 on the firmness scale. We've slept so well that I was happy to tell the world about it. Would definitely recommend!

I have had chronic low back problems for years. We recently replaced our 16 year old mattress with the Ghostbed (in a waterbed frame-no foundation). After sleeping on the new mattress for a week my back pain was significantly improved, especially upon first getting out of bed in the morning (pain level 7 to level 2).After a month I can say, no, I am not "cured" but I am able to move so much better! I am very happy!

Not sure why, but neither of us could get comfortable on this bed. Think to firm, yet the sides gave too much. We tried on the floor, and on the old box springs and nothing worked. I have never had back problems till I slept on this bed. This bed is simply not for us.
