I have been so anxious to get this bathroom fan installed. I had to hire someone because my bathroom doesn't currently have an overhead light or fan. The person I hired said the instructions were easy to follow, which made for an easy install. I also love the motion light. This was just the feature I was looking for.

It took a while for the item to arrive, but the fan seems well built and is stylish. It comes with a nice little touch screen switch. The humidity sensor will come in handy as well in our small bathroom. What I really appreciated was that it included instructions for both new installation as well as replacement/existing construction installation. I need to replace ours so this was helpful! The wire connectors are super simple.. no wire nuts needed, just push the wire into the attached plastic wire connectors, I've not used these before but they are very convenient. I also like that the light cover doesn't have louvered slots like our old fan, so it should be easier to clean.

Less noisy and good quality fan. Light could have been little more brighter but I already have standard bathroom light, so not much worried.

The fan hasn't been installed yet but everything looks like a quality product with good installation instructions.

Replacing a standard bathroom fan with this smart vent. Excited for the added light to the bathroom. I love all of the features including the motion sensing night light and the humidity sensor! The design is clean and simple! Very pleased with this product

Easy to install- per my husband ( I didn’t assist with that part haha)! Love the motion sense feature for trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Humidity sensor is a also a nice feature for kids who forget to turn the fan on while showering.

Very nice exhaust fan with led. I would and will buy this again

The Homewerks Smart Vent Bathroom Ventilation Fan looks and works great once installed. This unit was installed to replace an existing light/fan and that is where the adventure begins (if this were a new install, it would have been a breeze). The design assumes the unit will be mounted in a specific direction, which in this case was not possible. This led to the need to drill custom holes in the steel casing to screw the housing to the existing joist. The exhaust output would not fit into the existing exhaust connection (it is an old 3" to 4" adapter), therefore a trip was required to purchase the necessary parts. While at it, the integrated fan/light switch component is a rectangle shape (does not include screws to attach to the box) where I had standard dual switches which resulted in the need for a new wall plate and a blank for the existing dual gang box. All in all, the replacement installation took a few hours, but this is a huge upgrade from a standard fan/light bathroom ventilation product.

The Homewerks Bathroom Ventilation Fan moves a lot of air and is very quiet. I removed the bathroom fan that was previously installed and I was able to do the complete installation without going into the attic. The electrical connections are the quick, push-in type so the electrical piece goes very quick. You do need to supply a cable clamp for the electrical box on the fan. In the instructions they say to put a 1x3x14" board into the opening opposite the ceiling joist. Make sure that when you screw this board down you get close to the edge of the opening without crumbling the drywall. If you don't the screws will show past the grille. The reason I gave this fan 4 stars instead of 5 is because I received a unit without the motion sensor and LED light.
