It hurt my stomach which I have a few weeks to stop but it never did. The packaging was very discreet. I wanted to love them but I just couldn’t unfortunately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After taking this for about 2 months now I have now experienced any negative side effects. I have endometriosis and my periods are horrible and I have always used BC to help with that. This has help lighten my periods as well with the horrible cramps I would always get. What sold me how affordable this is and how easy it is to obtain and as a working single mom that is a must when I’m always on the go and have limited time for doctors appointments.

SO wanted to love this but the side effects are horrible and by far the worst bc pill I have tried. The worst side effect is continuous bleeding. Background - my normal periods on low dose combo pills is about 5 days and off pills it’s about 6 days but slightly heavier. I wanted to try Opill because I suspected, over time, the estrogen and/or inactive ingredients was causing my mental health to decline. My first period after starting Opill was on time and lasted 11 days of which half was mostly light spotting so that was manageable. Second period was also on time, only 5 days long that incl 2 days of heavy bleeding. Around this time I also started to lose massive amt of hair, developed a ravenous appetite and gained 4 lbs. But the final straw is my current/3rd period that has lasted 20 days (so far!) with a 2 day break in between so 18 days of active bleeding! It’s not super heavy but warrants a normal size pad, not spotting. I have heard other users who are anemic and experienced similar continuous bleeding to have fainting spells and required medical attention or iron treatment. This constant bleeding is a common side effect amongst a number of users sharing their experiences online and should be addressed by Opill. Btw, I never missed a pill and always too them on time. I have no bleeding disorders, healthy weight and lifestyle.

I have been taking this for over a year, the first couple months i loved it! Had no side effects, no weight gain, headaches , nothing! But after a few months it caused me to have severe depression , irritability, mood swings. Ive never been one to have depression and now im battling with depression and anxiety.

This pills not giving me side effects good dosage and very effective , no pain on my period , also this help me with my bad acne I just love it … my favorites from now . For sure I had to buy it .

While I appreciated the complimentary cup and the opportunity to try it out, I found that it disrupted my menstrual cycle significantly. I experienced irregular periods and some unexpected side effects. Although the convenience of a daily pill is appealing, I personally wouldn't recommend this particular contraceptive based on my experience. It might work well for others, but it wasn't the right fit for me.

I had to stop taking because of how bad the side effects were not to mention how many. Severe acne, bloat, fatigue, dizziness, drove my anxiety into overdrive, terrible bleeding and constant mood swings/drops. Started bleeding twice a month with cramps I have never had before.

The price is very reasonable and it's easy to get. It comes with this cute little pouch to keep the pills in to carry them in your purse. You need to take 1 pill a day at the same time each day for it to be effective. I took it for 3 months and had no negative side effects besides the occasional spotting.
