The packaging is fun and the marketing that came with it was fun. The price in stores seems reasonable and there is even additional rebates on rebating apps. Overall this was a good experience!

Typically with birth control I do notice side effects, but with Opill, I haven’t noticed anything. The product seems to be working well and I don’t have anything negative to say about it. I love the convenience of being able to get it over-the-counter and without a prescription. This will be a great option for a lot of people and I’m really excited that this is now available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took the opill for three months and my experience are generally positive. First, I transit from a different birth control to opill. For my previous birth control, I have light spotting between periods. So, for opill, not surprisingly, I have light spotting between periods as well, which is why I take one star off. However, I do believe this is different for everyone. I do experience bloating when taking opill, but I am not sure if this is a direct correlation to the pill or just diet related. Each pack of opill contains 28 pills. All of them are the hormonal pills, no placebo/sugar pills. My period was not regular before taking birth control, so since opill does not regulate period as you need to continuously take the pills non stop. My period went back to my irregular periods, which is roughly 35-40 days per cycle. For the three months duration, it was effective as a birth control since I am not pregnant with active sexual activities. Overall, I do recommend this birth control as a pregnancy prevention since it is over the counter and somewhat affordable, especially considering you do not need to pay for a prescription.

The pill is super tiny so I didn’t have no problem swallowing it and the case and pills are so cute and small, I carried them in my purse so I wouldn’t forget to take it daily. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pills are TINY. smaller than most of the others Ive taken before. Its easy to drop one on accident. The pouch to store them in is super cute & the cup that came with them is amazing. I love the silicone straw. The size of the pill is the biggest downfall in my opinion. It also made it easy to forget to take it. I also didnt like that there was no way to change the arrangement of the days of the week (a pack of stickers in each will go a long way) so that we can go left to right instead of finding the pill for that day of the week. I also dont like the fact that all the pills are the same color bc then we as the consumer dont know which ones are the ones intended to give us our cycle. We need options to skip our cycle. It did decrease the intensity of my period & it did light the flow, but it did extend it by a couple days. Overall for an OTC product it's good, but im not a fan. Ill stick to going to the doctor for my Nuvaring.

The 1st and most important to me is that I started growing more hair on my upper lip which I have never had before. Also I was more hungry throughout the days which I feel is normal Starting a new pill but I was hungry ALL THE TIME. In terms of pregnancy I’m not pregnant after taking pill so it works to that effect. Everyone is different so may not give same side effects for everyone.
