If you know about migraines with aura- you know that a fluctuation in our hormonal cycle can be a trigger for our migraines, and our migraines put us at risk for a early-onset stroke. I have known plenty of women who suffer from migraines with aura who, unbeknownst to them, were taking hormonal birth control pills and suffering from an increase in migraines and even had strokes in their early 20s. Because of this, I’ve never been on any form of birth control (pill or IUD) as it is not safe for me to do so. That is, until, Opill came into my life. Opill is a daily oral contraceptive that is a non-hormonal form of birth control. This means that it is completely safe to use when you have migraines with aura. After trying this product for three months, I can certainly say that I did not see an uptick in migraines. I haven’t experienced any major side effects for that matter. It has been great to finally have a birth control pill that is safe for me to use, and what puts me OVER THE MOON is that I can go to any grocery store near me and purchase it! I would highly recommend not only trying this product out, but recommending it to your friends and family.

I bought this pill 6 months ago and for the first month it was okay and i felt normal. my period was spotting but nothing abnormal, then after a month I was in a constant state of sadness/depression. I would always think of negative thoughts and was not happy at all. I had such emotion regulation and anxiety developed on top of the constant sad state. It did work and was convenient, but not worth three months of constant sadness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This birth control is awesome! I did have some slight spotting while adjusting to it but that’s to be expected! Opill did its job & kept me protected, not only that but it’s easily accessible online and in retailers OTC! I do wish the option was available to have to have estrogen to skip my periods but this is a great choice for easy birth control that is effective!

As someone who was told they could never take birth control ( estrogen or mixed progesterone and Estrogen birth control) Due to being diagnosed with blood clots. the opill has been a game changer. I am so excited to be taking this. I have yet to see any side effects.

I haven't noticed any negative side effects, and we'll I'm not pregnant, so it seems to be doing the job as it's supposed to. Compared to my previous prescription, the price is about the same, so I'd argue it's a good value as well. I'll say just be sure to still check in with your doctor and see if this would be right for you.

But of course side effects vary from person to person, for me personally i didn’t noticed any issues. I would recommend this. Love the insulated cup it came with in such cute color. I was in awe when the box arrived. Super awesome product.

But being over the counter is a start specially for the women who may not have access to ins to obtain birth control ! It acts like a normal BC pill and helps prevent pregnancy but would always recommend a second form of protection. Nothing is 100% effective

Was on a combo pill before I went on this one and this pill is honestly soo much better! I have no nasty side effects anymore and my period is completely gone!!. I was very hesitant at first to try this pill now very happy I did. I definitely recommend if you have painful periods.
