My son in college got one two years ago, and he said it's the most comfortable mattress he's ever slept on. My daughter needed one this year at college, too, so we bought her one. For the money and the convenience of having it shipped to right where they need it, it's the best mattress purchase ever! Plus, they love it! My husband and I have a "number" bed, and we've joked about getting one of these- if that tells you anything.... Buy it. You won't be sorry.

We bought this for our guest bedroom to replaced a worn out innerspring mattress, and put it on top of the old box springs. It is really nice! I slept on it last night (thanks, snoring husband...hehe), and it was very comfortable. It is pretty firm, but still cushiony. It seems very high quality. You can't beat it for this price!

This feels much like a regular innerspring mattress. The memory foam top is not very plush; there is no comforting feeling of “sinking in”. My husband was happier with this mattress than the straight memory foam mattress we tried first, because he doesn’t feel like he will fall off the side. We bought an additional 3” memory foam topper, so I am satisfied with the comfort and he is satisfied with the stability. Now that we know what combination works for us, we would happily buy again.

I purchased two twin XLs for a guest room and both guests raved about them! One even asked for the link to purchase their own. These mattresses are a true medium firmness and should please most everyone. We let these rise out of the vacuum seal for about 48 hours and had no issues with inflation.

This mattress is not 12 Inches. It is only 10 Inches. At first I thought it just needed to fully expand but it's been 16 days and it has not changed. It is still only 10 Inches thick. It may be that the wrong one was shipped but if that is not what happened then this mattress is not what I expected.

We bought this because I hated my old mattress but didn't have the money for a regularly priced one. My hubby and I are both very happy with it. Plus, it is super exciting/frightening to open a dehydrated mattress! FYI, it is a much lower profile than the "nicer", much more expensive mattress we used to have. I have herniated multiple discs in my back and I sleep better now than I have in a long time!

I've only had the mattress a few weeks, so this isn't a long-term review. It arrived in good condition and is comfortable to sleep on. (FedEx delivery was a bit of a nightmare as they left it in the building entrance way despite being buzzed in and I had to get a friendly neighbor help me drag it up the stairs. Make sure you have two people available for set-up the day it arrives. The box is very heavy.)

This is a very good FIRM mattress. The family is happy as we bought two. Be careful when you release it from the plastic wrap. Be sure you are not in the uncoil path. The only thing I would like is for it to have a stiff edge which makes it easier to get in and out of bed. Great price!

This is the third Zinus I have purchased, two for guest rooms and one for my son. EVERYONE who has stayed at our house (and my son) positively comments that they LOVE this mattress and had a great night of sleep. Even two friends who have difficulty sleeping at night! The fact that is was delivered...and so easy to put on the bed and how it opens made it so much easier than buying at a store and paying delivery fees. I did need someone with bigger muscles than mine to take up up a flight of stairs. But I was able to angle it onto the bed frame and open it myself. Being a person who sews clothes since I was in 5th grade (now 63) I can attest to the quality fabric and substantial stitching on this product. The price is low if you consider the quality of product. Thanks Sam's for carrying this product.

I was kind of worried after seeing some low reviews but I am glad I went with it. Its very comfortable not to soft or to hard. The only negative feature is when you sit on the edge of the bed you tends to side off so you need to sit back farther from the edge.
