It's actually very comfortable. Bought this for my 6'7" son and he loves it. He fits on it and says it's great. Soft but not too soft that you sink into it. Would purchase again.

We are very happy with this mattress. It was a great value for our needs. We were furnishing an apartment for 3 college aged young adults. This mattress was comfortable and delivery and set up was easy. We would definitely reccomend

I am a grad student who bought this when I moved across the country. It was nice that it shipped to my house for free. When I first opened it, it had a paint-like smell that went away after about a week. This is a firm mattress, and the first few nights I had to adjust, but after that I have slept very well. It’s not like sleeping on concrete or anything, but it is definitely firm and doesn’t have much give. I find it to be rather supportive. I didn’t want a mattress that would sink in over time. I have only had this for about a month, but I can see it will hold up for a while. I didn’t place it on box springs, but rather I built a pallet bed out of 4 pallets (base layer) and it seems to hold up well. Overall, it’s a good mattress, especially for the price and free delivery.

We purchased one for a guest room and our daughter loved it so much she asked to move it into her room and then took it with her when she moved out. So, of course, we ordered another one. They are so comfortable. Easy to setup. Definitely would purchase again.

Amazingly comfortable mattress. Was surprised that this really thick mattress could be in such a small box. Vacuum packing works great. Plenty of support but must be on a box spring or a solid base. Seems to be well made, time will tell. Would definitely recommend this mattress. Good value at a affordable price. Now if it lasts will be the test. Very pleased

I bought this for a guest room after my kids moved out. We replaced bunk beds with a queen and it was easy to set up and is very comfortable to sleep on. took a bit to get use to it as it's a different feel from the traditional bed. We're considering buying a king for another room.

The mattress was delivered in a box and was really surprised how well it inflated to the queen size mattress. Super happy that it has no chemical based materials and has/had no chemical smells! It did take me a couple of days to adjust to the firmness but my old mattress lost that stability. So far I'm very pleased with this mattress.

I wasn't too sure about a mattress in a box but I am pleasantly surprised. The mattress is very firm. The only thing I don't like are the edges all around the mattress do not feel firm so you can't really sit on the edges. Overall I sleep like a baby!

It's nice that we live in a time in which we can buy a good cheap mattress, but I wish that these mattresses came with side handles. Even though we don't need to flip them, we still need to move them onto the bed and make adjustments like putting on a fitted sheet. That is why I'm giving it four stars.

This is the third Zinus I have purchased, two for guest rooms and one for my son. EVERYONE who has stayed at our house (and my son) positively comments that they LOVE this mattress and had a great night of sleep. Even two friends who have difficulty sleeping at night! The fact that is was delivered...and so easy to put on the bed and how it opens made it so much easier than buying at a store and paying delivery fees. I did need someone with bigger muscles than mine to take up up a flight of stairs. But I was able to angle it onto the bed frame and open it myself. Being a person who sews clothes since I was in 5th grade (now 63) I can attest to the quality fabric and substantial stitching on this product. The price is low if you consider the quality of product. Thanks Sam's for carrying this product.
