These are fantastic. I have tried a LOT of different sausages/brats, and these are far and away my favorites.

Years ago a friend gave me several packs of sausage from a well known Lockhart, Texas barbecue place. One was a jalapeno cheddar sausage. I loved it, but couldn't justify having it shipped to Maryland. This isn't identical to that, but it is the closest thing I have found locally to that sausage. My family and I really enjoy it, enough that I buy it on a regular basis.

Just an all around nice spicy smoked sausage. Great for an addition to everything from baked beans to a cajun pasta dish.

Nice and thick and juicy. The cheese and jalapeño is the perfect amount. The meat is tender not over cooked or hard.

Careful cause these are hot! If you like spicy then you should give them a try.

They are exactly as described, but with a thick casing. Smokey? Yes. Jalapeno bite? Yes. Greasy sausage? Yes. If cut into slices, no problem. If bitten into like a hotdog, expect a very thick casing and your bite size might pull a big hunk of insides out and burn your mouth/lips.

Taste really good - I cut them up and air fry for a few minutes - they make a great appetizer

This is a really good sausage. Don't overcook or you'll lose all the cheese. It's not at all spicey, but has a nice flavor.
