Honestly, this happens to be one of my favorite sausages on the market. Great flavor and on the smoker you can't go wrong.

We Love this sausage. We cooked quarter size pieces and added to a recent Paella dinner party and it was the perfect compliment to our meal. Not too Smokey and just the right amount of heat. We’ve told everyone to buy it!

These are delicious. Succulent and juicy smoked sausage with LOTS of cheddar cheese and fresh pieces of jalapeño. Not too spicy, just delicious and great on the grill. Better than Johnsonville and Mission barbecue sausages.

Great flavor, texture and value. Perfect for grilling. Works great for any recipe calling for sausage, and leftover is even great cold sliced as appetizer. I freeze them separately on a sheet pan then place in freezer bag for convenience of using one or many at a time.

I have grilled and air fried these sausages and used them with a boxed jambalaya. They are really good in every application. They have a thicker style casing that has a snap to it, but not so thick as to be unpleasant. It's always hard to address spicey heat in a review, since individual tastes vary so much. If your familiar with jalapeno peppers, you know the seeds and the ribs are where the real heat comes from. These sausages appear to be absent seeds and ribs, but they do contain actual pepper flesh, rather than some fake pepper like concoction. That alone speaks to the quality of them. So the big question, how hot are they? If you have no tolerance at all for "hot" foods, they probably aren't for you, since they do contain jalepino's. If you are okay with very mild heat, you should be fine. I'd consider these mild, compared to, medium salsa for example.

Delicious. Coarse textured—not pulverized into moosh and forced into a casing. Great melding of flavors, the jalapeno, cheese. Not too spicy but my nose did run just a little bit. Very healthy without nitrites, nor fake flavors nor coloration. Natural casings. Good for flavoring chowder.

These sausages are fantastic! They have a noticeable spice kick. On a heat scale of 1-5, with 5 being the hottest, I’d rate them as a 3 or 4. While they may have other uses, I've enjoyed them best on their own (with or without a bun) or incorporated into pasta, stir-fry with vegetables, and more. I don’t think you'll be disappointed!

This sausage is the MOST amazing thing I have eaten in a LONG time. I am so excited to go back and buy more. Makes my stomach growl just thinking about it. I found a sausage and pepper skillet recipe on Pinterest and used these sausages. It was AMAZING. Ate them for lunch for over a week in that.

They are quite flavorful and a make a nice, easy, and quick addition to a meal.
