Got these after looking everywhere for a quality sausage without nitrates. These are delicious! They are a bit sick and they do have actually pieces of cheddar cheese in them. NO NITRATES! Beware that the product very similar to these in a flavor called “bacon cheddar” although looks similar, is not nitrate free. So don’t accidentally pick those up if you are looking for natural nitrate free stuff. I slice these and use them in my jambalaya recipe and my husband enjoys grilling them and eating them with different toppings on a hoagie roll. Great flavor and quality without the junk!

I’m not usually interested in sausages, they are usually too fatty and have weird gristley bits in them. These smoked sausages have the perfect texture and flavor for my liking! I don’t have to worry about under or overcooking them, they’re just heat and eat. I’m obsessed!

5 Star .... We love these Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages. Great flavor, easy to cook. Not every Sams Club carries this product, but they should. When we do our monthly shopping at Sam's, we drive about 40 minutes away to make sure we can purchase these sausages.

I love this sausage. It’s so good the flavor and just the right amount of jalapeño and it’s got cheddar cheese in it. I use it for a lot of things. It’s great with eggs and I also make a shrimp recipe using this kind of sausage and it works out great.

These Jalapeño cheddar franks taste great. Is it really cheddar though. It was sticky like gum even in the cleaning up process. The cheddar was stuck to the fork, plate and the kitchen sink. Even when scalding hot water was being run onto these surfaces that that the cheddar was stuck on, it didn’t budge to be washed off without strong rubbing friction.

Wasn't certain what to expect but decided to try them anyway. Turns out they are a little spicy but I like that. My husband and I enjoy them but the grandchildren not so much. They are too spicy for them. We intend to keep buying and enjoying. I recommend trying them and decide for yourself.

Years ago a friend gave me several packs of sausage from a well known Lockhart, Texas barbecue place. One was a jalapeno cheddar sausage. I loved it, but couldn't justify having it shipped to Maryland. This isn't identical to that, but it is the closest thing I have found locally to that sausage. My family and I really enjoy it, enough that I buy it on a regular basis.
