SAMSUNG 77" Class S90D Series 4K OLED Smart TV

The rating would have been higher, if I wasn't forced to see a screen full of ads trying to get me to rent movies. It's very annoying.

Excellent TV for the money

I had read that some sets of this particular model and size can eventually suffer from a blown power supply unit after a number of months or even years. Given the quality of the display itself and the warranty, I figured it was worth the slim chance of an eventual issue. I probably should have gone with something else.

It was borderline miraculous how quickly my power supply failed on this unit. After about 2 hours of initial setup one evening, I watched about 20 minutes of TV the following afternoon and "POP", TV is done for. Not even 3 hours of on-time before the faulty part decided that was the end. I'm already getting a runaround from Sam's Club on a replacement/exchange even though I'm within my window. I'll be stuck dealing with the Samsung repair process for better or worse. 

My suggestion, just save your time and avoid the 77" S90D.

The power supply issues are real...

Got this 77” on clearance for 1299.99 matched it with the appletv which calibrated it perfectly. Comes with a 5 year warranty for trouble free guarantee.
