The weight was the reason I chose this model. About the max I can handle by myself. The fire rating was also a requirement and water resistance was a nice to have feature. These concrete mounting bolts that screw directly into the concrete are great. Used before - no issues. Lighting is nice, but external batteries with USB adapter/charger would keep corrosive alkalines away from my guns. The shelf support rails look fairly standard and of reasonable strength. Includes some screw-in shelf hold downs that are nice for keeping the ribbed shelf inplace. All ribs are for single barrel or over/under doubles. My old side-by-side doubles don't fit well. The rifle strap on the door is too short by at least 3 inched for my hunting rifles. Combination appeared to be easy to set from the instructions, but it took 3 tries before the one entered would unlock/give me the green light. Has worked fine since.

Have had this for over a year now and love it more every day. Very configurable, has lots of features and is priced at 1/3 the price of comparable safes. I have 4 long guns on the left hand side, 3 pistols and lots of mags/ammo on the right hand side, and 2 pistols in the door pockets (could probably fit 3 more) and it's pretty but functionally crammed. Lock is great and it will give you a low battery warning (batteries lasted about 13 months before I got the warning). Has a battery powered light system you can velcro in wherever you need it and also has a power cord which I do not use. I simply cannot state enough how pleased I am with this safe, especially considering the price.

Ordered safe online so it would be delivered to my home. All went great until I received the safe. The handle turns when the safe was locked, so I contacted S.A products support and they told me to contact Sam's and get a replacement. That's what I did and Sam's gladly replaced the safe and picked up the defective one. The replacement safe, the handle locks, but the keypad doesn't fit securely to the safe door and moves when I enter the code and sometimes falls off the door. I contacted S.A. product support by email several days ago and still no reply. I think some of the safe's are probable OK, but its a gamble if you get a good one or a dud. So far it's been two duds for me. Thank you Sam's for going above and beyond on replacing the first safe, you were a pleasure to deal with. S.A Products not so much. In the email to SA support, I offered to replace the keypad and faceplate myself if they would send the parts, but no reply.

I'm extremely disappointed with this Sports Afield gun safe purchased from Sam's Club. For a product that is supposed to provide secure storage for firearms, the quality and support have been unacceptable. After only a short period of ownership, the safe stopped functioning properly. I reached out to customer service at Sports Afield expecting guidance or troubleshooting. Instead, I was told that I first needed to register the product, even though I already had the manual and paperwork. The manual itself lists multiple possible model numbers, which makes it unnecessarily confusing to even determine which safe I own. Customer service mentioned something about replacement parts, but provided no specifics about what part, why it failed, or how it would actually resolve the issue. There was very little clarity or meaningful help provided. For something as important as a firearm safe, I expected reliability and competent support. Unfortunately, this experience has been the opposite. At this point, I would much rather return the safe entirely than deal with ongoing issues and unclear support. Very disappointing purchase. Never again.

The safe was delivered without incident. The front of the safe does show a few permant rub marks from transit. The safe is high quality and roomy inside. It is reliable to open, We bought the dark brown which is a really nice color. The lighting and door lock require batteries (included). We currently do not have a need for the power cord that is included.

This gun safe is right size for our needs

Beautiful Safe, small and fits into a closet very well.

Excellent value and quality

Great overall safe. Not very sturdy if not attached to the floor. Door has issues staying closed

I wanted to keep it but like other reviews stated. It arrived with a dent. Front bottom right corner. I returner it.
