The absorbency was high but they were very thick which can be a bit uncomfortable at times. I feel like it's a matter of choice. Would you rather full coverage or a slimmer pad? The pads were surprisingly comfortable even though they were large. I would use these on the heaviest days of your period and others for the lighter days. The packaging is attractive and there was a fair amount of pads included. I liked they were all individually wrapped and easy to apply. I would purchase these again to ensure zero leakage but wouldn't wear on lighter days. The brand is also well-known so I'm confident buying from this brand.
