Ease of set-up: 5 stars, the app makes it easy, haven't tried the monitor and keyboard configuration Storage: 5 stars, no subscription, no cloud. 1TB seems to be plenty of room; two months in and I still have over 900GB of space. Quality: 1080p, looks good on the phone. Haven't verified on a dedicated monitor. Motion detection: 2 stars, needs work. Cameras/system unable to truly differentiate between a person or cars. Cameras will record regardless what it detects. Recording: 3 stars - cameras/ System takes too long to start recording. A delivery person detected will already be walking away from the front door area before the recording kicks in; this is like a 4-6 second delay. Battery: .5 stars - definitely not as advertised. This is the biggest disappointment. The batteries supplied (2 for each camera) lasted about 1 month, on full charge, before needing to be recharged; even with the spotlight feature turned off. Purchased additional batteries to be able to install 4 batteries in each camera, and the time before recharge seems to increased to two months, less time on my front door camera due to increased activity. Overall option: An okay camera system of people looking for value and getting used to setting up their first system. Wireless is a good option users in rental properties where drilling through walls for wires or where power access is limited or not allowed. Person/car detection needs work; record delay needs to be improved.

I have been working on this for about 9 hours.. One camera only records for a few seconds then I get a black screen for the rest of the recording , if i get any recording at all. The batterys were charged to 100% 4 hours ago now they are at 73% There has to be something better then this. It also works poorly with my Iphone and worse with my pc computer It really is awful

It comes with a quick setup guide that walks you step-by-step through the setup procedure and a QR Code that you can scan to get additional support. If you run into problems, you can access 24/7 manuals, troubleshooting guides, video tutorials, etc...And if all of that isn't enough, you can call them for support. That is great service! The 1080p cameras provide crystal clear video and the motion-activated spotlights and 2-way audio provide you with additional layers of protection/security. I like it that the cameras are powered by AC power vs batteries. My criticism is that the power cord isn't long enough, only 10 feet long which required me to use an extension cord until I can add an outlet. A small sacrifice for such a great security system. If you are looking for a security system for your home, office, or outbuildings, I strongly recommend the Night Owl Wireless 1080p NVR with 1 TB HDD and 4 AC Powered 1080p Wireless Cameras with lights!

Still evaluating this product, but if you watch the videos then you shouldn't have any issues setting it up. Have 4 batteries in each camera and already had to recharge one of them after one month. Would say the battery life will depend on the amount of activity in its path. The videos are clear, but the cameras are not detail enough for license plates. Night vision is good, sound quality is good, and again I'm still evaluating the product.

Easy setup all you had to do was plug in the cameras in a nearby outlet . The Spotlight is nice and bright And the app is easy to use . The initial setup was easy to navigate through. The best was seeing the picture quality is amazing. So clear . I give this a total thumbs up!!!!

This is the first hardwired system I have ever owned. It's awesome. I can view it on my TV, my phone and my computer whenever I want. I have 9 cameras and it covers all of my needs. Great system. I highly recommend it.

Due to the recent crime in LA I decided to purchase this to protect my family. So far I believe these cameras have deterred at least 3 homeless people snooping around my property. I definitely recommend this.

Love the spotlight on these! Setup was so easy and the app is great. Had so many issues with other brands in the past - wish I had found these sooner!

I bought this item about a month ago and it has been great. Easy set up, great app, and helps me keep an eye on things. Very pleased with the product
