We liked the 65 quart Lifetime cooler we got so much we decided to give one as a wedding gift for a family member...but we got them this 28 Quart one since they're just starting out and don't have a ton of space. This wasn't something on their registry, but they were so stoked about it. It's the kind of thing you're not necessarily thinking about, but which you'll use for decades. They live in a rural hot climate and keep it in their car for bringing home frozen and cold items from the grocery store and said that's been a revelation for them. I had never thought of doing that myself, so I now keep a Lifetime cooler in my trunk for groceries all the time.

Nice cooler but needs a drain plug!

I bought this cooler for work and it looks good but doesn’t hold ice a full day. Yes the water stays cold but for a lot less money I could have gotten a cooler that keeps the ice better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is as good if not better than anything on the market. I took it out camping and the original ice stayed unmelted for 3 days. I have another cooler that's almost double the price that only held ice for 2 days. The quality of the straps is amazing and the product itself is very appealing to the eye. The weight can be an issue if you're planning on lugging the cooler around but that's how any cooler is. It just depends on how much you put into it. Overall, I am very happy with the product and I think it exceeds the mark on all parts.

Very pleasantly surprised with this cooler. It is durable, rugged, locks easily, and keeps things nice and cool. What more could you want? I’m not an outdoorsy camper person so I cannot speak to the bear resistant claims it has. I love that this cooler is so sturdy that it doubles as an extra seat at a gathering. You can double stack cans inside of it if they are already cold and they were still the same temp by the time it was ready to leave the party. It fits perfectly in the back seat of my car. I am taking off one star because it is heavy without anything in it and I wouldn’t dare try and carry it if it was full or cans or food—I’ll leave that to my stronger friends. This is my first cooler of its kind so I’m not sure if I’m just used to cheap Igloo coolers or what, but I was shocked at how heavy it was. I’m confident it will hold up for years and I won’t have to replace it anytime soon, but carrying it sucks because there is only one handlebar and no hand grips on the side that I see.

We got this the beginning of February, and while I can’t exactly testify to the ice retention (due to it being winter time), I can still talk about how great the insulated walls are. I took this cooler on two different ice fishing trips and put all of my snacks in it. Being able to open the lid and pull out some beef jerky that wasn’t as hard as a rock was fantastic! It sat out all day in the snow and ice and everything was just as wonderful as when I put them in the beginning of the day! This cooler isn’t very large, so therefore makes it perfect for one day adventures! Want to go ice fishing? Take this cooler! Want to go on a picnic? Take this cooler! Want to go on a one day staycation with your spouse? Take this cooler! It’s easy to carry with the built in handle and lightweight enough to not make it a hassle to move around! I would definitely recommend this cooler to anyone!

My only complaint is that there is not a spout to empty the cooler. It kept ice well and was perfect for our Super Bowl party. It held two bags of ice.

Even though I have only had this for a short time, I love this cooler and am fully satisfied with it. The handle is very sturdy and the foam gripping area is very comfortable. The overall build quality is good, thick walled and sturdy. The ice retention was good as well. The test I did was I filled the cooler with ice and only opened it once a day, after 3 days there was still ice in the cooler floating in ice cold water. Maybe pre chill before using would be beneficial for longer. In closing, this cooler is rugged, durable, well-constructed, and kept ice throughout a long weekend. It also has a bottle opener built in and is MADE IN THE USA.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago and I really like it. It is heavy and durable. It keeps things cold for days. The only drawback is no drain hole. Other than that's it is great. Very heavy duty! I love the fact that you can lock it too.

The reinforced thick insulated walls are essential in keeping the ice retention. Kept ice at least 72 hours while testing in my home. The durability of this cooler is great as it can be taken anywhere on any kind of adventure. Handles are well made and as they are locked down you can hear the air getting pushed out. It seals nicely and is air tight. The carrying handle is very sturdy and fits well in the hand. The bottle opener is a nice added feature. The cooler is a bit heavy and bulky even while empty. While bigger coolers have a side drain this cooler is not big enough to need one. Another added feature would be to have a ruler on the top lid. Could be handy in measuring such as fish. All in all I would recommend and purchase this lifetime cooler. Added plus it is Made in the USA. Totally satisfied!!!
