[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I left this cooler in our car at the trailhead during a two-night backpacking trip, and I was honestly shocked at how well it did. I had a few cans and a few bottles in there for a full 48 hours, plus sandwiches and snacks just for the drive up/hike in. After taking out our food the ice only filled about half of the cooler, so I wasn’t sure how it would hold up. When we finished our hike we were so happy to find lots of ice still keeping our beverages cold! This has officially graduated to my go-to cooler for shorter trips. I also really appreciate a few of the design touches like the buckle-style latches instead of the stretchy rubber style on other coolers, the ability to carry it with the top grip handle or the two side handles, and the integrated bottle opener. The only slightly odd design choice I noticed is that there is no drain hole. Since it is relatively small I don’t have a problem draining from the top, especially if it means things stay cold longer!

Immediately upon receiving the cooler, I could recognize its quality compared to other coolers I have owned or purchased. I don’t know if I will ever need its bear-proof feature, but I need it to be kid proof! I love that it is durable enough for anyone to use as extra seating. It is sturdy, so it has some extra weight to it. My 14 year old daughter can carry it one handed when it’s loaded with ice, drinks, and food, so most can handle it. The secure latches make it easier to carry by yourself. It fits perfectly in a utility wagon and I am still able to fit our other gear in the wagon, which I couldn’t do with our other cooler. This makes it perfect for small outings to get outside after work and school with these long summer evenings! We took ours to the river and it was perfect! Everything stayed cold with one bag of ice and we didn't have to lug a huge cooler!

Very sturdy and seems like it will last a "Lifetime". Really great latches that are not attached to the lid when open. Lid is also easy to open with one hand after unlatching and I really like the bottle opener even though I thought I would never use it. I wish it was a little smaller and lighter and had a drain but, after having it and using it...I would buy again.

I love the size of it makes it easier to use then a big roller cooler. It keeps items nice and cold for days. It seals really well and you can hear it seal when you close it.The cooler went to a car show and kept drinks nice and cold and doubled as a foot stool. The only improvements I would suggest is maybe side handles to carry instead of just having the big metal handle. I am short and the length is a bit awkward to lift into a trunk of a car. Also maybe cup holders on the top to hold drinks. Other than that it has been a great cooler that I think will last a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brought my 28-quart Lifetime cooler along on a couple of fullday fly fishing trips in the middle of Oklahoma summer, and its held up pretty good (way better then most). It kept my drinks cold, boat sodas colder, and my snacks fresh all day, and it even had some ice left when I packed up, which doesn't usually happen with other coolers ive used. The size is just right too. It fits like a glove in the back of my 2Dr Wrangler without taking up all that much space, but it's still big enough to hold everything I need for the day/days. Its USA made, SOLID! the latches stay closed (inlike other brands), and it's strong enough to sit on, im 200lb, while taking a break or changing flies by the river. I think it's a solid small to medium size cooler, Id recommend it to people who spends a lot of time outdoors, whether that's fishing,hunting or camping. Also makes for a perfect boat cooler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 28 quart cooler is great! It’s the perfect size and I like its features. The metal handle is sturdy allows one hand carry. The lid and latches are great and allows a great seal and keeps the cold in really well. We had upper 90’s temps the last trip we took and the cooler performed great keeping perishables cool and the ice lasted really well. We’ve been using re-freezeable ice packs but in the event we use actual ice it would be good to have a drain although I don’t see that on this size cooler often but maybe something to consider. Overall, the cooler works excellent!

I received this cooler in exchange for my honest review and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. This cooler is awesome! I love the rubber feet so it doesn't slide around. It's insulated fabulously! I froze 16oz. Water bottles and put them in the cooler. I believe 3 of them. And I opened the cooler probably 40 times at least and the ice still lasted 2 1/2 days. It was 100 degrees all 3 days I took the cooler to work with me and I work on a tree farm so not a lot of shade. Very impressive. This is a very well made cooler that I believe will actually hold up to me for years to come. It weighs a few pounds but what do you expect for something that will withstand a live grizzly bear for over an hour? What an awesome product! I love this cooler! I will definitely be purchasing more Lifetime products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this cooler for the past few weeks and it’s come with us several places. The size is perfect. Compact enough to take for our baseball games and to the pool. We mainly use it for drinks and take it to the pool. It would easily hold drinks and our lunches too. We always pre-chill it and it keeps the drinks cool all day. I also love the handle and the grips it has. I also love the orange color and get compliments about it every time we use it.

I examined several coolers before selecting the Lifetime brand. The quality was far better than coolers twice the price. I’ve only used it a couple of times for daily usage and it performed well. I haven’t needed to use it for multiple days, so can’t speak to how it would work . The cooler is heavy for the size but that should be expected for how sturdy it is
