It's also the perfect accessory for your patriotic barbecues this summer, if you're into that sort of thing (my wife is VERY into that sort of thing). It's got good size, it's extremely sturdy, and it kept ice and drinks cold over night while being sealed tight. The straps were a little tricky to get to cooperate at first, but we figured it out and are glad we did. If you don't get it for your country, get it for your wife.

The coincident holes in front allow you to slip a padlock through to protect your food and beverages. It also acts as a bottle opener which is awesome. The ice retention is amazing. Even after 2 days, it kept our drinks cold and the ice didn't melt at all. It’s engineered to retain ice for up to 5 days. We recently brought our cooler along while on an outdoor picnic and it kept our drinks perfectly cool! We couldn’t be happier with this high quality cooler and it is definitely worth it.

Very sturdy and seems like it will last a "Lifetime". Really great latches that are not attached to the lid when open. Lid is also easy to open with one hand after unlatching and I really like the bottle opener even though I thought I would never use it. I wish it was a little smaller and lighter and had a drain but, after having it and using it...I would buy again.

It feels durable and well-made, and the patriotic design gives it a cool and unique look. The ice retention is excellent. I used it at work and on a fishing trip, and the ice lasted much longer than expected in warm weather. Drinks stayed cold without needing constant refills. The cooler also has a very practical size. It’s compact enough to fit easily in the back of a truck or boat, but still spacious enough to hold plenty of drinks, snacks, and ice for a few days. I also appreciated how easy it was to clean after use. It’s also easy to carry while still holding plenty for day trips, camping, boating, or tailgates. The sturdy handles and secure latches held up well. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this cooler for its durability, ice retention, convenience, and great design.

I purchased this cooler (Lifetime 28 Wasatch Gray) specifically to go in the back of my side by side. I have a larger 55 quart and love it. This ones compact size fits easily in the bed of the side by side, the carry handle is sturdy and I love that this model has a couple of eyelets by the handle to tie it down. Prechill this cooler and beverages before your trip, and this thing will keep your drinks and food ice cold for three days on the trail in 85+ heat. Mine did. I love it.

We liked the 65 quart Lifetime cooler we got so much we decided to give one as a wedding gift for a family member...but we got them this 28 Quart one since they're just starting out and don't have a ton of space. This wasn't something on their registry, but they were so stoked about it. It's the kind of thing you're not necessarily thinking about, but which you'll use for decades. They live in a rural hot climate and keep it in their car for bringing home frozen and cold items from the grocery store and said that's been a revelation for them. I had never thought of doing that myself, so I now keep a Lifetime cooler in my trunk for groceries all the time.

I examined several coolers before selecting the Lifetime brand. The quality was far better than coolers twice the price. I’ve only used it a couple of times for daily usage and it performed well. I haven’t needed to use it for multiple days, so can’t speak to how it would work . The cooler is heavy for the size but that should be expected for how sturdy it is
