We purchased the 230 gallon deck box at Sam’s. We were happy with both the price and large size. I was impressed with the quality of the deck box. It fit together perfectly and the fastener which came with the deck box, ensured it will stay together securely.

Very happy with the Keter 230-Gal Deck Box. We were able to store several metal trash can that we were storing charcoal, lump & briquettes, & wood chucks. Basically everything we need for BBQ's, starter chimneys, utensils, etc. that we use. Plenty of room for storage, and was easy to put together. The lid is very easy to raise, stays in place, & lower. Really cleaned up the patio.

Love this deck box The box is sturdy. Its ⁶definitely holds all the pool toys. Unfortunately when unpacking the box and reading the parts list we noticed right off we were missing a major part of the lid the steel bar for the lid was missing. We had to contact Keter through their email and give detailed information on what part was missing. One week goes by and I hadn't heard back from Keter. So now I called them and gave them the same information that I emailed to them eight days prior there on site. The representative took my information and asked me what part I was missing three different times. I kept telling her the same thing over and over. Then she said someone will be contacting you and hung up. Later that night I get an email from Keter asking where I purchased the box, what my order number was and to email the receipt as well. I took a photo copy of all the above copied and pasted it to the email didn't hear anything and a week later the part shows up.keter need to work on there customer service..

Watch out. If you have a missing part you wind up dealing with Keters customer service folks. I threw out the packaging which meant I could not return it to Sam's Club. Keter's "process" as they are fond of calling it winds u being a heavy lift./ Who know how long I will wait for the part- if I ever get it. My advice is to fully assemble it before disposing of any packaging and if there is an issue return it to the store. That said, this 230 gallon monster would require me to rent a truck to return it- point is- do NOT ecpect Keter to treat you well if something is missing or broken.

I have several Keter deckboxs. These came with the plastic piece snapped and are not near the quality of my older ones. I bought 2 a couple weeks ago and now they are almost $50. apiece cheaper. I ould send them back but I need the storage now. Not happy at all.

Ok I’ve had mine now for over 2 years. I got lucky and got it on sale in July I believe it was And I did that by reading reviews and noticing dates so I paid like 119.99 for mine. I am disabled but had no prob putting it together by myself. What I use it most for is Actualy a work table/bench, as it’s very tall so I can work on a lot on the top of it plus store a lot inside in fact I considered getting one for my autistic son cause he likes confined places and would love it in his room to get inside with his iPad and just chill once the white comes back in stock I will be doing that for sure. It looks exactly the same as it did when I got it and I don’t have a covered porch so it gets direct sunlight from about noon til dark. The lid opens and closes super easy with the pistons is absolutely water proof. I do find a lot of spider webs and spiders but the bottom has a small gap at the seam. May try some spray foam for that. I did try spraying flex seal but it just ran through the gap. My deck boards are not as close together as they should be so I’m sure it’s spiders entering from under the porch into the bottom other than that I hear most people don’t have that problem. That would be my only complaint. I also have the small deck box 2 actually same brown color by keter and love those too use them for my automatic pool vacuums and as side tables or seats. And I have the medium one that looks more like a bench but doesn’t have the back on it like some do. It doesn’t lock like this one and the small 30 gallon. Keter changed their warranty policy while back they will only add it if the item is registered within certain time frame so best to handle that. I missed out on drill and driver lifetime warranty from rigid cause I was not aware it had to be registered within 90 days to obtain that coverage so hope this helps someone. But I’m not thinking warranty would ever be necessary for this deck box it’s so sturdy and again in direct sun light and not a fade or warp from me working on the lid for various projects such as sanding and painting

Relatively easy to put together and decent materials. Pieces are embossed with part number which is very handy. Love that the door stays up with the pistons. We store cushions, cover, and extra chairs in ours. Reasonable price compared to others on the market.

Very easy to put together. Took 2 (not so spry) women 1 1/2 hours to put one together. One person can assemble it, but it is best if there are two when attaching the lid. The material is not very heavy, but unless you plan to move it often, it is certainly stable enough to hold pillow cushions (which is the exact reason I purchased it). I got it at sale price, but even the regular price was less than most. Box arrived slightly damaged, but that could be the carrier not the seller. No parts were missing, and the deck box was not damaged. Gave it 4 stars because the construction material was lighter than I had hoped for. But, perhaps my expectations exceeded today's market. Would definitely purchase again. Please keep in mind it's brand new so I'm excited about it, and may sing a different tune in a few years. Don't expect that to happen, but....

I purchases the 230 gallon deck box from online Sam's Club and it arrived broken. My local Sam's Club won't accept it back for an exchange and instead directed me to call the Keter company for replacement parts. I purchases this on 5/11/19 and on 5/22/19 I called to request the 2 broken parts (part # CO). The Customer Service was horrible and the guy on the phone was extremely short and rude. He informed me to take pictures and send them to the company email, but never received a confirmation that new parts were sent out. I called back on 6/5/19 and they told me to wait for a phone call, it's 6/13 and haven't heard from anyone and haven't received the broken parts... Now its too late to return to the store and the parts that are broken make putting it together impossible.

The Keter 230 gallon outdoor storage bin is a lifesaver. I am one of those who loves to decorate every holiday so over the years I tend to accumulate a lot of decorations ranging from blow ups to statues to lights. So Living in a 4 Bedroom house with no storage room can be a bit of a nightmare cause I don’t want to throw nothing away and since I am a renting the house I am reluctant to buy a outdoor storage shed. Now one day strolling through Sams Club in Miami, FL one day, I fell upon the answer to my prayers. I bought 4 and putting it together when I got home was a piece of cake. Thank you for providing and amazing product.
