I am trying these out because they are a better value than the name brand. SAMS usually does a very good job of replicating the original. I verified the active and inert ingredients, pretty much identical.

My eye doctor suggested I take the name brand which is pricey, however I found these and compared ingredients and very pleased with the product and the price.

Mother has AMD (Age-related maculate degeneration) and her Eye Surgeon stated this Vitamin is a must since there is no cure for AMD and other eye benefits have been noticed by taking this. Called and they confirmed Gelatine is Beef Cow Derived and not Pork Pig.

Take this as a daily supplement for my eyes.
