Cleansing and helps brighten a bit. I prefer the charcoal toothpaste they came out with recently as it whitens much better. Being a smoker and a coffee drinker I need whitening toothpaste.

This is a great whitening toothpaste it taste like mint but not over baring . It's very effective at whitening your teeth I like it over other brands.

Been using this for years! I gave this item a four star rating because I don't think it helps whiten my teeth any more but I love every other aspect about it! The flavor is not overpowering and it keeps me fresh!

After just one week of using Crest 3D white, my teeth look whiter and my breath smells fresher. I also feel much better knowing that my enamel is being protected and so far have not had too much tooth sensitivity.

As with most “whitening” toothpastes, I don't notice any whitening bonus after months of use. That might just be my teeth though. I try my toothpastes for months at a time, so I've gotten used to the fact that this one isn't for me.
