This 8K BTU unit does a good job, but the price is a bit high for what you get.

Great Features - Works as Advertised

I bought this to replace a 5000 BTU that I had in my room thinking it would cool faster and better being an 8000 BTU.
Well I was mistaken. This thing runs almost constantly within about a 150 sq. ft room. It is very loud to the point I need to have the TV on high to hear it 
I am actually thinking about returning it and putting my old one back in. Too noisy and not efficient.

Loud and not good at cooling

I am very happy with my purchase it cools really quick and its not to small or not to big and it comes with a handy remote and i also love that is programable to wifi so if you are far from home you are able to turn it on ahead of time and thats a great idea all you need is to have home wifi , i definitely would recommend this unit
