Terrible Purchase

I don't normally do reviews but this GE unit was terrible. I bought it in May 2024 and it worked for about 6 months. The compressor lost all refrigerant and unit freezes up no matter what the outside temperture. I won't ever buy another GE.

Horrible quality product.

Have had to replace these units once a year. Maintenance doesn't help, neither does placing them inside storage for winter. Cheap units that will not last more than a year. Do not be fooled. I am buying something different now.

Two ACs both stopped cooling in leas than one year

I bought one in 2020 and it stopped cooling in less than one year. Sam’s had a sale and bought a replacement and it stopped cooling in less than a year also. Won’t be buying another GE.

Stop working

I bought it last year and when I tried to turn it on it makes a beeping sound and the wifi light is on. I can't turn it off or make the air conditioner to work. I don't have wifi at home and last year it was not an issue

We recommend disconnecting the unit for a few minutes before plugging it back in to the outlet. This will reset the controls. WiFi is not required for the air conditioner to work.
