I used to buy whatever brand charcoal was on sale. At the beginning of this summer we tried Kingsford and we are never going to buy a different brand again. They are so easy to get started, burn extremely long, and they flavor of the food always turns out great. I highly recommend trying this product!

I use KBB (KIngsford blue bag original charcoal) in my offset smoker, my drum (UDS) smoker, my Old Smokey grill and my Chargriller...pretty much everywhere you can use charcoal. It always burns the same, lights fast using a chimney and gives that great grilled flavor.

I am a Long time users of KIngsford Charcoal. This season I bought a 2x20 lb package as we usually do. I find the new coals don't last as long. The old briquet was larger than the new ones. We have also found they don't last as long. Please go to the old tried and true.back

Remember "New Coke"? Neither does anyone else because CocaCola screwed up their tried and true recipe with it. I'm sad to say that Kindsford is headed down the same path! These new briquettes don't burn like they used to: more ash, more white smoke, need more per cook. Who knows...maybe Kingsford is priming us for "Kingsford Classic"!

My boyfriend and I grill out every weekend. I noticed that the bags of Kingsford Charcoal that we bought this year have not lasted as long as the ones bought last year. We almost have to use a whole bag in one grilling to get the food cooked. Sometimes I end up just putting the meat in the oven. I mean by the time its ready for the meat its ash. What happened? I mean if its not broke why fix it.

I've always used Kingsford, but will be looking for another brand. The briquets light quick, but they also burn quick. I don't remember ever having Kingsford burn this fast. As others have said, it's ok for weiners or a couple burgers, but for anything that takes longer to cook, you'll have to keep adding briquets to make the coals last. I'll be trying different brands in the hopes of finding something that lasts longer.

Your product left all the food I grilled tasting like burning rubber ! What have you done ? If you have 3 shifts working, then you need quality countrol on all 3 shifts ! I will never count on the Kingsford brand again, and the remainder of the charcoal in the bag will be thrown out with the rest of the trash. You ruined my food , and also I suspect your product is resposible for the headacke I'm experiencing at this very moment !

This is the first time I have used these in years. They burn out way too fast and they don't burn hot. THe whole point of charcoal is that it is supposed to burn hotter than gas. As soon as I take the Kingsford out of the charcoal starter, I can barely get the grill to 300 degrees. It's been the same thing over and over

Attached are pictures of my club's bbq 8/28/2021. Here are a few facts. We racked 518 chicken halves averaging 1.523 pounds or 24.4 ounces each. What a slab of meat. Total of meat weighed 790 pounds but only 520 pounds charcoal, that's 26 20# bags. That means it only required 0.659 # to grill a pound of chicken for 2 hours. Chicken bbq is a major fundraiser for Mount Sidney Ruritan Club as we have monthly bbq dates to grill approximately 4500 -5000 during the grilling season. The last six bags of Kingsford charcoal I have bought burnt out extremely fast!! I thought maybe just a bad bag or two but the quality is nowhere near what it used to be! Not sure if they changed their process or what but I’m definitely not buying anymore. After 35 years of what used to be a great product I’m no longer going to put myself through this aggravation!! Good by Kingsford, time to find a new favorite!
