I've used the off brand when it was on sale and each time I found myself wondering why I waste money buying it instead of Kingsford. You typically have to use almost twice as much to get the same quality.

I have used this product forever, in the last 3-5 years the product has been changed. I live in a colder climate but in 40 deg. temps. I cannot get the heat I need for smoke cooking! I have to look for something else.

My experience with your new formula (ready even faster/burns longer) is that the coals are not as hot. I like the original briquettes that I have used for years.

We have tried other brands and ALWAYS come back to Kingsford. We also use only Kingsford lighter fluid too. Makes a difference in flavor of food. Great for tailgates too!

We've used Kingsford for years... grew up with it and have continued to use it for all our outdoor grilling (which is 52 weeks a year in California!) Lights easily, burns consistently well, wouldn't think of using any other brand!

Love this stuff! Charcoal is Sooo much better than gas grilling! I've tried some cheaper charcoal brands in the past and they are NOT worth it. Kingsford is the only way to go.

I been using this brand of charcoal from the start, use other charcoal. Nothing beats this brand. Great product and would highly recommend this product.

I never had a problem lighting these briquettes, and it helps the flavor of my food taste great every time i grill. I'm never going back to cheap charcoal again!

I have found that the original Kingsford is the best charcoal I can find. If you light and let them get hot, then spread evenly there is no reason why your dinner should be evenly cooked and delicious.
