I've purchased cheaper brands of charcoal in the past and always go back to kingsford. It lights easy, stays burning and just seems to make my BBQ taste better.

Kingsford used to be the best charcoal. It absolutely sucks. I don't know what has changed but it no longer cooks well, burns up way too fast and does not develop a nice white ash when ready to cook any longer.

Only charcoal I'll ever use.. Starts quick, burns steady and when I'm done I have no issues with leftover coals, because it's so easy to figure out the right amount to use.

I have always used Kingsford Original. It lights quickly and easily. The reason it didn't get the 5th star is there is a small window for cooking your food before the best heat is gone.

Great product sold at a very competitive price. It burns very hot for the first 30 or so minutes and then drops down to medium high heat for the next hour+. If I need more heat I just add 5-10 more coals on top of my base.

I've always preferred KIngsford, and now the new version is even better. Ready to cook faster, last longer, and still gives food that great char broiled flavor!

Nothing better than the *original* that started it all! Heck, your own Grandpa grilled with the original Kingsford, back in the day! Kingsford is the best charcoal for my Weber Kettle. I won't use anything else!

We love using Kingsford, been married 23 years and we.ve never used anything else for BBQ, well except wood, of course. I recommend Kingsford because it doesn't leave an after taste on my grilled fruits and veggies .

You were my go to product. I swore by it but for the first time my matchlight didn't light. I had to abort my grilling session. It was a brand new bag. What happened? ???

We always use lump coal. We tried this brand and everyone complained of a chemical taste similar to lighter fluid. We use paper and a vortex chimney to light no fluid. I hope it doesn’t tarnish our reputation.
