Island Joes Jamaican Beef Turnover Patties are tasty. They have a unique island spice flavor, but not too spicy! They were easy to make. The box has air fryer instructions! We love that! I made 2 patties in my air fryer in about 25 minutes. I think higher temperature would be better and be ready quicker with a crispier crust. The beef flavor was tasty and crust was flaky and crispy. Overall I was pleased with these turnovers.

I recently received this product to sample and i was quite surprised. 10 count patties stuffed with Jamaican spiced beef. I tried these 2 different ways. I first microwaved a patty as it stated fully cooked ready in 2 mins. And it was. Even though no actual microwave instructions. I also used my air fryer as it started this is the recommended preparation method. Both turned out equally good, with the air fryer turning the crust slightly crisper. The meat was well seasoned, crust was decently flaky. Slight heat but not overwhelming. The family agreed this is something we would buy regularly.

Highly recommended for a quick and flavor filled meal. Prepared in our air fryer, it was very quick and easy to prepare. Came out crisp with a favorable meaty filling that had a light heat that was very good and well seasoned. I had to fight the temptation of overindulging and consuming too many which is a good fight to have. Can be used for a quick snack or full meal dependent if it was for an child or adult. From frozen to ready to eat in 15 minutes. My wife and I enjoyed it and will purchase more.

Our house had mixed reviews for these beef patties. Half loved them and half thought they were just ok. I liked the potion size. One is big enough for a full meal. They are spicy. My spice lovers really liked them. We used the air fryer to cook them and they were perfectly crispy on the outside.

These beef patties were easy to make and quite good. They are super handy if you're needing a quick snack or pair with a few side dishes to prepare a quick meal. I only tried these baked in the oven, but they came out great! I was expecting perhaps a bit more spice or bit of heat to them, so in that aspect it seemed a bit underwhelming. However, what may not be spicy to one, may be warm to another, so to each their own. Aside from that, we liked these!

So okay upon opening my first turnover I noticed that the thing was already falling apart from inside the wrapper. So then I grabbed another one and it was pretty much the same as the first one. The things just didn't want to stay together very flaky and not the most desirable looking color in my opinion. So I air fried it in my air fryer as instructed and it came out very crispy and Flaky. I took a bite and the taste was a little different but not that bad, spicy is a good word for it. Overall I would have to say Island Joe's Jamaican style turnovers are not that bad, but not something that I would buy.

These were not bad. A little bland for me. Maybe adding salsa or some kind of side dip Would put over the edge. Spicy but lacks something. I wouldn’t buy in future. If you like spicy tacos it might be for you. Not going on shopping list

We normally do not eat a lot of processed foods. These were not a favorite of mine for a meal or snack. They are convenient. Just pop them in the microwave and it's an easy snack. I didn't care for the taste.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from these, but they were VERY good. They had a flaky crust and a great flavor. They do have a little bite, but I really liked them and I don't generally like spicy things. The whole family gave them a thumbs up!
