The Island Joe's Jamaican Style Beef Turnover Patties were tried by 2 senior citizens and a 26 year old woman. We all had the same opinion, the meat inside was really tasty with just the right amount of spicy flavor. However, none of us like the crust of the turnover. We would not likely buy this product because of the crust.

We tried Jamaican Style Beef Patties for the first time as we were looking for an afterschool snack for the children. They were simple to warm up in the oven. The flavor was different at first. The more I ate this the more I liked them. The children loved them. Great afterschool snack! Excellent flavor!

I would choose this over a hot pocket any day. It’s like a homemade meal. I preferred it warmed in the oven and mine took longer than 12 minutes but so worth it! The crust is flakey and the meat is spicy. I could see this with a salad, rice and beans for a main meal. I think topping with sour cream, lettuce and tomato would be fantastic.

This is a great option for a quick snack! Literally just need to unwrap them & heat them up since they’re already fully cooked. Also, a good choice for a snack on the go since they’re handhelds & can be consumed with little to no mess. Great flavor with every bite so they’re perfect for a snack for a movie to a party appetizer & everything between!

Island Joe's Jamaican Style Beef Patties are tasty treats. They are flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The patties take a bit longer to warm in the oven than the instructions indicate, but have a nice flaky crust when heated through. These go well with black beans and a salad for a full meal, but are also good alone as a quick snack.

The Island Joe's Jamaican style Beef patties are very convenient. I cooked mine in the air fryer for 14 minutes and the tasted good. The outside was crisp and the middle was good and hot. They tasted like they were made fresh. I would bey these again. I ate mine with salsa hot sauce and sour cream.

I tried these Island Joe’s Jamaica Style Beef Turnovers and found them to be just OK…they had very little spice eve though they were considered “Classic Spicy”. Good Points: Easy to prepare in an air fryer; Nice and crispy crust. Not as good points: Not a ton of flavor; Meat consistency was almost paste like. I think they would be better with some sort of dipping sauce.

Both were good, but the crust tasted great and was flaky, but was a little crispier in the air fryer. They were spicier than expected, but not so much that I couldn't eat. They are also very filling. I would purchase these again.

I prepared this turnover using an air fryer as the instructions recommend. The crust is what one would expect in a turnover. A little crumbly with a dry texture. The best part of this is the meat inside. It is spicy with a nice flavor. This is a good snack or part of a lunch with some sides. I will be buying some more and keep them ready for the midnight snack attack.

This is the first time I tried these Jamaican style beef patties and I loved the way they taste! These were very easy to heat up and at 10 patties to a box they are a great values too. I just love the convenience for any time you need a quick snack or even a meal. I highly recommend these.
