These things are pretty good! Only reason for four stars, is because when they are prepared in the microwave the texture is lacking, and sometimes I like to prepare a snack quickly instead of waiting for the toaster oven! When made in the toaster oven, they are crispy on the outside and hot and gooey on the inside. They have a little bit of a spiciness to them that is pretty different than most flavors I’ve experienced before. Very good overall!

The beef paties are very tasty and not as overpowering as I expected them to be, but I like spicy hot, so it might be a bit intense for others. The patties make a perfect on the go meal. They are very filling. They remind me a bit of empanadas. The crust is nice and flaky even though I microwaved the ones I have eaten. I expect them to taste even better when warmed up in an oven. One thing I do want to say is that if they would have more meat filling they would be even better.

These heated up nicely in the air fryer - followed the directions on the box. Nice, crispy, flaky crust surrounding well seasoned, balanced beef filling. The filling is a little on the spicy side but not so much that it is a "lip burner." The filling texture was a little pasty but was a nice contrast to the crust. Looking forward to trying to microwave since they are fully cooked. The box says they are ready to eat in 2 minutes but both sets of instructions take at least 12 minutes. Fairly filling - one was enough for a lunch.

Island Joe's Jamaican Style Beef Turnover were very tasty, easy to bake in the toaster oven. If you like spicy (which the Jamaican name implies), you will love the taste of Island Joe's. The crust for the turnover was very tasty, the beef was very tasty as well. Just be prepared for the swallow to experience the Jamaican part. Spicy but I am a wimp when it comes to spicy, however, I really did enjoy these turnovers. I would buy them again. Try and enjoy.

This is a great option for a quick snack! Literally just need to unwrap them & heat them up since they’re already fully cooked. Also, a good choice for a snack on the go since they’re handhelds & can be consumed with little to no mess. Great flavor with every bite so they’re perfect for a snack for a movie to a party appetizer & everything between!

We were very excited to try this product. We cooked them in the oven the first time we ate them. The crust was nice and flaky and the insides hot. The meat appeared to be good quality and we enjoyed them. We microwaved them the next time we ate them. They were just as tasty but the crust was not as enjoyable. The filling is nicely blended so you don't run into any chunks. These were a bit spicy, but expected, given their name.

These Jamaican beef turnovers are really tasty with lots of flavor. They are very quick and easy to prepare. Makes a great snack after school or add a side salad and you have a quick meal on those busy nights. These are a very good product and I would definitely recommend you giving them a try.

I would choose this over a hot pocket any day. It’s like a homemade meal. I preferred it warmed in the oven and mine took longer than 12 minutes but so worth it! The crust is flakey and the meat is spicy. I could see this with a salad, rice and beans for a main meal. I think topping with sour cream, lettuce and tomato would be fantastic.

Not our favorite. Although these cooked up nicely in the air fryer and looked like they were going to be wonderful, we found that they lacked in flavor. We really wanted to love them and make them a quick go to meal. My children wouldn’t eat more than a bite.

My family tried the Island Joe’s Jamaican Style Beef Turnovers today. We cooked them according to the directions in the Air Fryer per the recommendation of other reviews. They turned out great and had a good flavor with a slight kick of spice in them, but not too spicy for us. The only reason I gave it four stars was because one patty is a little high in calorie and carbs for those of us who are watching our diet. We will get these again!
