My daughter and I tried the Jamaican Style Beef Patties. We cooked them in our air fryer as recommended, but they took a little extra time. The out side crust was delicious, but the inside beef was very spicy. My daughter enjoys spicy food, but this was a little too spicy for her too! I did like the taste, but once the spice kicked in I had to sip something in between bites. These were too spicy for me, but if you love spicy hot, give them a try!

If you like spicy and I mean spicy food this is for you. The flavor is really good but I couldn’t get past the very spicy meat. So I had my husband try this as he likes his food spicer than I do and it was even too spicy for him. So if you are someone who really enjoys HOT and SPICY THIS IS DEFINITELY for you.

I used the air fryer to cook my Jamaican style beef patty, and it was crispy deliciousness. The crust was very crispy, and when cutting in half it smelled amazing . It says spicy, and my family loves spicy but I would say it’s about a 3 on the level of spicy (0-10 scale). The crust seemed a tad bit dry but was still flaky and crispy.

I say snack or dinner because it's easy to prepare 1 Island Joe's beef patty for an in between meal for hungry kids or 2 patties with a side for a meal. The best way to heat them up is by air fryer to get the crust flaky and cooked evenly. I liked the taste of these by itself but found that putting on my favorite salsa made them even better. The beef filling was tasty, not too spicy and not too bland. The crust was flaky and also had a good taste but was slightly dry, adding the salsa remedied this. Overall a quick & tasty treat that I would recommend for your freezer

Island Joes Beef Patties are extremely easy to make and incredibly convenient. I brought this product to my work office & my co workers really liked them. They are spicy but not too spicy. The crust is great, not soggy at all. The only thing I would change about the product would be to add cheese.

So happy we tried these Jamaican Style Beef Turnover Patties. I used my air fryer to cook these using the instructions on the box and they came out perfectly. They have a bit of kick to them but not overwhelming. Perfect for a quick meal air fryer to table in under 20 minutes and much better than stopping for fast food. Definitely will be picking these up again. Family loved them.

I was not sure about a frozen meat pie, but this one exceeded my expectations. It has great flavor, and has the right amount of spice. The spicy meat is not overpowering. I cooked them up in both my oven and air fryer. It was crispier when cooked in the air fryer. I received the best results when I cooked it at 350 for 25 minutes in my air fryer. I served it with rice and a side salad. I had a great meal on the table within 30 minutes.

I tried these Island Joe’s Jamaica Style Beef Turnovers and found them to be just OK…they had very little spice eve though they were considered “Classic Spicy”. Good Points: Easy to prepare in an air fryer; Nice and crispy crust. Not as good points: Not a ton of flavor; Meat consistency was almost paste like. I think they would be better with some sort of dipping sauce.

Prepared these as directed for oven directions as we do not have an air fryer. Crust is thick and dry. Hardly any meat inside. We were unable to taste the meat filling due to the crust. Patties were not spicy at all. Of the 3 family members who were home when these were prepared none wished to have these again.

I got these Island Joe’s Jamaican Style turnover patties for my family, and they are very delicious! I put them in the air fryer for 15 minutes, and they are so nice and crispy!! Even my 3 year old grand daughter loves eating them. She says “These are delicious!!
