In my first week of sleep on this mattress..getting used to it. I sell this mattress in a furniture store and wanted one myself. I have a hybrid and had switched from an innerspring mu whole life. I was generally a side sleeper and now find myself sleeping on my back to become accepted into the memory of the bed. As I spend more time sleeping on the bed I know it will soften as the showroom model is softer.. So all is good here:...

Finally convinced my better half we needed to upgrade our bed. We went with a split king with adjustable bases. Finally a bigger and better, bed. We both love it. My spouse who was hesitant about spending so much money said he would gladly do it all over again. The best nights sleep we have had in years. The adjustment period was a breeze because we already had an inferior queen memory foam bed. My spouse said she sleeps 300% better.

As others said on the floor it felt fine. I was looking for a replacement for the original Tempurpedic, which my wife and i loved. TP sales crew could not tell me which one would be closest match so we went with this in medium. It is awful. Terrible. Doesn't feel anything like what I knew and loved about TP. We both wake up in pain. Back and neck pain. Unfortunately when I bought the "upgrade" on a warranty return I didn't read everything. Their is no comfort guarantee. Only discomfort guaranteed. Also no sheets fit properly, especially waterproof covers, even theirs. They know this and told me to not use a cover or buy from another vendor.

Earlier this year I decided to downsize and purchase a Queen size mattress. There are so many memory foam mattresses out there these days, and believe me, I read up on all of them. In the end, I decided to purchase the Tempur-Adapt mattress. I can tell you that I made the right choice. I love it better than my old Tempurpedic mattress and I sleep even better now than I did before! I now fall asleep within the first ten minutes and sleep soundly throughout the night. This mattress isn't cold and hard when I first lay down, nor does it heat me up too much as some memory foam mattresses do. It's perfect for me! Just to let you know, my mattress arrived a couple of weeks before upgrades were done in my home. I ended up having to wait a couple of months before I could sleep on it for the first time, and it was well worth the wait! In case you are wondering what happened to my old Tempurpedic mattress, my daughter wouldn't let me get rid of it so now she is sleeping on it. You can't go wrong with a Tempurpedic!

I purchased this mattress to provide relief for lower back pain. I have been using the mattress for about a month now and the mattress does not at all feel like the mattress that I tried in store; the mattress has actually caused more pain in my neck and lower back. A very disappointing purchase.

Love, love the Adapt medium mattress! I've had it for about 7 weeks. It felt a bit firmer when I first got it but after maybe 3 weeks it softened up to how the store model felt. I'm a side and back sleeper and this mattress is the most pressure relieving mattress I've ever had. No more low back, hip, or shoulder pains! I can sleep through the whole night without waking up!

I started out with the Pro Adapt..medium,but after a few weeks, I just didn't care for the very hard feeling top and I couldn't sit on the bed without sinking too far. The top didn't give any unless you put pressure on it. It may be better for someone heavier. I weigh about 150 lbs. and am 5'6". I exchanged it for the Adapt Hybrid. Oh my goodness!! It is perfect for me! It has the softer layer in the top and cuddles you gently without sinking in too far!! I can also sleep all the way to the edge and sit on the edge without it going down too far. Feels like I'm on a cloud! I'm also a sleeper that likes to be on my back sometimes and on my side sometimes. I can't wait to get in it every night!! Perfect!!

I am 6'4" and I've found it's hard to find a comfortable mattress at a bigger size. BUT this mattress is the answer and I've never felt more comfortable on a mattress (so bigger guys, I highly recommend)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used memory foam mattresses for years in my whole family. This mattress blows all of those other ones out of the water. At first we were a little skeptical about the firmness. Upon laying on the bed at first it feels like it is going to be a hard mattress, but as you lay on it you can feel your body kind of sinking into it. The mattress really does conform to your body. I used to toss and turn all night long trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep in. With this mattress I roll onto my side and I move maybe once during the night to readjust myself, because I no longer feel the aches from being in the same position while sleeping. I love that this mattress does not cause any aches and pains while sleeping in one spot for hours. I can even fall asleep better with this mattress. I have a hard time with falling asleep at night, but I get so comfortable and relaxed in this mattress that that hasn't been an issue. I used to have to take Melatonin just to be able to fall asleep. With this new mattress that has not been an issue for me. The one downside I think of this mattress has is the thickness. I personally prefer a thicker mattress, and a higher bed. That is a small issue in the grand scheme of things and I would choose a comfortable mattress over the depth of a mattress for visual reasons. I would recommend this mattress for anyone who wakes up with everyday aches and pains, because they WILL be gone. You will wake up refreshed and well rested! I have tried different size sheets, including sheets purchased from Tempurpedic, but none fit well. Sheets "bunch up" wherever I lay, and I prefer a nice tight smooth sheet. Have not been able to find any that accomplish this, no matter the depth size. A topper might help, but when you pay 3k for a mattress, why would you need to add a $300 topper that cannot be returned if it doesn't solve the problem?
