[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I desperately needed a new mattress and we also purchased the adjustable base. I have a compression fracture in my back and was in a lot of pain. The adjustable base helped me to get in and out of bed easier & I could put the back up to help me get more comfortable.

The first year on our new Tempur Pedic Adapt Medium was great. Soft yet firm, with support everywhere you need it. Just like I remember from the Tempur Pedics that I slept on for years throughout high school and again after college. But almost to the day one year later, I started noticing neck pain when I woke up. It wouldn't go away, and started getting worse. I got the Tempur Pedic neck pillow, which did help a bit, and my wife says it reduced my snoring. But the neck pain never went away, with some days worse that others. After a few more months, my wife started having trouble sleeping because of back pain. Then I started getting back pain when lying on my back. We realized the areas where we sleep had gone completely soft, yet the sag in the top layer did not meet the company's warranty standards - as determined from the photos that they told me to take and send in. But this issue is not visible from the outside; it is a failure of the foam cells throughout the midlayers of the mattress. I can feel it by shifting to the center of the bed where neither of our bodies lie while sleeping. It feels like a ridge that you can balance on, like a thin sliver of support. But because of the properties of memory foam, there is no way to evaluate this without lying down on it. The mattress retains it's level form even as the interior foam completely breaks down. The company makes an effort to brand themselves as 'high end' and charge a fortune for their products. But just like their beds, the support from Tempur Pedic's customer service team is also severely lacking. It is very impersonal and you feel somewhat betrayed after getting completely shut down without a fair analysis. I am very disappointed with the way this company has become after being a previously happy customer. I used to recommend the beds anytime the subject came up, but I will never again. The product has gotten worse instead of better, and their service is abysmal.

The bed seems similar to the one we replaced. We had a Tempur-pedic Classic. The deliver went pretty well. However, if you are replacing an old bed, the delivery people should make sure the frame fits the new bed correctly. It does tend to be warm. However, it is not too warm. I just use less covers. It seems comfortable and I can only hope that it does not start sinking like the old one did. The new 10 year warranty is half of what the old ones had. The pillows we got are very nice. The down one is not hard like some of the other memory foam ones are. The cooling one seems to work well for my better half. She seems to like it. Only time will tell. As to warranty, the tags should have been placed either at the foot or on the side. To have to look at information at the head of the bed seems strange. Also, the corners of the foundation say to remove them. However, the delivery people did not remove them.

We are less than 30 days in and I am waking up with lower back, hip and leg pain worse than my old mattress. I know its the mattress because right before we got this mattress we were on vacation and I had zero pain and slept great on Hilton's mattress. Unless it gets much better, we will probably return it and try to find one that works. It's way too expensive to keep if it's not a game changer in a positive manner.

I use to own a pillow top and it was killing me. I woke up with back and hip pain every day. So I tried all of the mattresses at the store And fell in love with this mattress. The first night sleep was amazing I woke up with very little pain in my hip and back. The next few days the pain was gone. This is an amazing mattress I would definitely recommend it to àll my friends and family.and to you all reading this review it is amazing. The only thing I wish I could afford was the pillows to go with it but I will get them later.

Two shoulder surgery... Back surgery.. Thrashed neck... trying all i can to never fuse my cervical. Fast furious fun life... Haven't had a decent night sleep in 15 years... This mattress is without question the has changed my life... I sleep better than i ever have in my entire adult life!!!!

I was so excited about our new mattress! I was told it would take a few months to break in and my back to not hurt in the morning. Well it's been over six months and both my husband and I have terrible lower back pain when we get up every morning and it's getting worse! I wake up after about 6 hours of sleep because my back hurts and I can't fall back asleep. Without increasing my pain medications, I am limited to less then 8 hours of sleep on my new mattress, the whole point of getting a new mattress was to help my back pain and not need to take medication! What a waste of money we haven't even paid yet since we financed through a furniture company we are stuck paying for it and will probably have to start sleeping on our 20 year old Sealy postur-pedic again.

I haven't been very impressed with this mattress. In the store it was a dream (I actually went back twice a month apart to make sure before buying it). At first I thought the bed just needed to be broken into but I haven't really enjoyed how hard the mattress is

I was amazed at how much better my back and shoulders feel after spending time sleeping or just relaxing in my Tempurpedic bed. This mattress and adjustable base has done a lot to alleviate my morning stiff back, neck and shoulders. I should have bought one of these years ago! Thank you Tempurpedic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress for a few weeks now, and it has been a total game changer! I can say the quality of my and my husband's sleep has truly increased. We selected the medium support mattress and have no regrets at all! We absolutely love it! It provides the perfect balance between semi-firm support and plush comfort, which we totally love because it truly combines the best of both worlds. We don't feel like we're laying down on a wooden plank or about to sink into a pile of cotton, the balance is simply amazing. We have also been enjoying the cool to touch technology and now I have actually been able to sleep through most of the night since I'm not tossing and turning due to heat uncomfortability. And last but not least, the pressure relief comfort layer has helped ease so much of the back pain, along with other aches and discomforts that we had been dealing with on a nightly basis. The tightness and aches that I have been experiencing! I'm been dealing with a lot of tightness, especially on my back and around my hips ( I'm 4 months postpartum), and these have definitely improved since I started sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic mattress. We highly recommend getting one and can definitely see ourselves purchasing some of these mattresses for our little ones in the future!
