So disappointing. I bought this for my mom, thinking that the OG of robot vacuums would be the best for her little 1000sf house. Well it wasn't, it would map the whole house and would tell her after 2 days that it was clogged. It didn't matter where it was put in her house, it would miss whole rooms! returned it after 10 days. I guess her 1950s house was just too much for this modern devise. We went with the shark model instead (which I own) and it has had NO problems.

This IBot 3 vacuum is fantastic.  We had a Neto for several years which was fantastic, especially with mapping your home, but wanted the main dirt disposal bin vacuum.  The I3 was the least in price, but still had the expensive mapping feature.  Mapping is everything when it comes to these vacuums.  The IBot knows when the vacuum is full, returns to the base, and empties.  It will then return where it left off and start again.  Eventually, it will return, empty, recharge, then start up again.  It will vacuum out entire house easily in a couple of hours.  The key is placement of the base unit free from any obstructions.  The first placement was slightly tight, and it had problems returning to the base.  Once I put in an open area, not one issue.  Well worth the money.  Don't waste your money on $200 - $300 vacuums.  I tried the shark first, and that units mapping was not consistent and it would get lost.  We have 2 golden retrievers and this IBot picks up all the hair!  I highly recommend this vacuum!!!
