This was a great product until we went to take the cover off to wash. As we were unzipping it was giving us a hard time we just assumed it was because the foam had expanded and was to taught on the zipper however as I was zipping it up to put in the washer it refused to go back together. After 30 min of working on it, I finally got it closed. Washed it and again after opening it to air dry it was giving us issues we tried to get it back on and got most of it closed after working one side at a time taking up to 45 min per side. We are in the middle of trying to get one side back together, but I would not ever recommend this product to anyone unless they updated the covering. For how much was spent on this product for it to be this faulty is absolutely ridiculous. I'm half tempted to buy the replacement, I'm unsure if it would be worth it or just a waste of more money. I am absolutely disappointed in this product, especially since Sams Club always has quality products or dupes. I am very sad that this has been the outcome.

We have three of these. Originally had two with the old zipper, which we never had an issue with. The work and look great. Our most recent Explorer Sofa came in yellow with new zippers. Sounds like they heard a few people’s complaints and switched out for different zippers. I personally liked the original zippers better but I’m sure some people will be reassured knowing that the zippers have been switched out.

Honestly wanted to like this as much as the original nugget, but it just doesn’t compare. If you are going to use it just as a couch or maybe a bed that’s fine but it’s just not as sturdy as the nugget for builds. Also washed the cover one time and followed the directions and the zipper broke. Would not recommend if you can buy the original nugget I would instead!

Purchased for toddler and preschooler. They love it. It has many functions. I only deducted a star because I purchased emerald and it is hardly comparable to the stock images. However, it still matches the bedroom decor so we kept it! For the price, I felt we can’t complain!

My husband wasn’t sold on the idea of this couch but within a week of having one, he decided we needed a second. We have made lots of cool forts, coloring tables, and use it consistently as a yoga mat. It has had so unexpected uses, too, like the perfect sized bed for a sick kid in my home office and sleepovers with friends. I have washed it once with no issues

Dissatisfied

We picked up a sidewalk color sofa in the store for Christmas after waiting a full year for one to be available after they advertised it in an ad. It took several days to expand but it fully expanded correctly when it was done. The fabric is very nice and the sofa is usable as expected. It’s firm yet soft enough that a 140lb adult can comfortably sleep on the thicker cushion without pain when waking as well as kids. You can fit a twin size sheet over the cushions with a little extra room in the sheet leftover. It’s been great doubling as a spare sleeping mat for sleepovers/naps. When I ordered a second one off line, the wrong color came. It came in a brown box rather than the original box like I had gotten in the store. I had to call member services and give them a serial number to even verify that it was the wrong color. Nowhere was any information on the color of the item since the orginal box was not included. If it was a gift I would have been very disappointed. They wouldn’t even know what it was. If I had opened the plastic wrap any more than I had, it would not have fit back in the box for a return. I’m currently waiting for a call for instructions on returning the item. We are disappointed we have to wait even longer for the correct item and do extra work just to get the correct one.

With so many of these popping up everywhere I wasn’t willing to spend $400+ I saw many negative comments on other play couch pages about these particular ones. I was hesitant to buy but it was in stock my first visit ever at Sam’s club. So I bought it. We are extremely pleased with this play couch Packaging was perfect. Began to expand right away my kids didn’t even care it wasn’t fully expanded and within a few hours it looked perfect. We got the light gray color and I love it. It kinda looks like a tweed material but isn’t it’s actually really soft. We loved it so much we recommend to a friend and she went and bought the flamingo color the next morning. It’s also a very unique pretty color. Definitely buy if you’re really wanting a play couch. My 1yo and 5yo play on it non stop. we also have other blocks that add building fun as well.

My brother in law designed his own “nugget” couch and my daughter loves it. I thought I’d buy this since she loves that so much. She spends hours climbing, jumping, sliding, Etc on this couch. I didn’t experience the issue with it puffing up to full size or the zipper issues. This is $200! It’s worth the cash just to let them have somewhere to sit. Those personalized chairs from that one big store cost $100, spend an extra hundred and let them have it for longer!

I loved it so much I went back for a second one! I do have the other major competitor to compare. With these you can pick up the triangles with one hand due to their pointed shape, for anyone with the other brand you know what I mean! Also, the fabric on these is similar to the double brushed fabric, so you are technically saving $80 not $50 (double brushed is $30 more). These are just as stable, I would even say the thin piece is more stable. Hands down I recommend this one!!! it took about 48 hours to fully fluff and not be flimsy (same as the other brand). You won't regret it.
