I have owned this kayak for approximately a year now. It has room for two adults and 1 child. I used this last summer with my wife and 10 year old daughter in our local lake. The kayak is very stable and moves at a steady pace even though it has some weight to it. The maneuvering capability is sufficient; you may have to make a few more side to side motions to keep on track while paddling. I also customized this kayak for fishing, and it works out great for stashing gear and holding your poles. Please note that this kayak is heavy, and takes a lot to get used to if you are going to use this by yourself. The size is nice and doesn't look that long, until you try to stand it upright to put on top of your car. I could never get enough holding power, so I installed 3 additional handles so I would be able to pick it up to place on top of the car. I also had to buy an attachment for my bike rack. It's a bar that sticks out and act as a 2nd person once you place the kayak in the corner. Even though there are minor drawbacks to this kayak, I am still giving it 5 stars because the kayak has done everything I've asked of it. The price was also nice, it holds 3 people, and this is a solid body kayak. For family trips and fishing this is a sure thing.

My wife and I took our new Kokanee kayak out last week for the 1st time since we bought it. I was impressed as to how stable it was. Later, my 18 year old son and his friend took it out and is was so stable, they could stand on it and dive off of it. No trouble getting back on it either.

I bought this Kokanee Kayak as well as the small 6 foot child Kayak. We love them both. Used them many times on the lake this year. The sit on top position makes it extremely easy to use. The Kokanee Kayak is big enough to fit 3 people. My wife and I would paddle with our little one onboard while our 7 year old zipped around us on hers. Looking forward to many years of family fun. The movable seats also allow for a single rider to sit centrally onboard. The width of the kayak is great on choppy water providing stability. Lastly Lifetimes customer service is great. They helped me get extra parts and were fast and friendly. Would recommend there water sports products to everyone.

We bought this kayak because we like the feature of two people being able to use it at once. The kids love taking it to the lake and paddling around for hours. We have thought about getting another kayak or even a paddle board from lifetime. Love their products and recommend them all the time.

I was extremely impressed with the parts customer service. I called due to losing a couple of my seat strap clips. I spent so much time looking everywhere online for it without any luck. I finally ended up calling their parts department (which I should have done first). They told me they would send me the parts free of charge and that I did not need to pay any shipping. Wow! We bought a single kayak this summer and tried it out not sure what we had got into..... It was so much fun and had a blast we were fighting over who got to go out next. My husband and I decided when we got home to get a second one and went with a double so we could go out together. We had even more fun. If you are looking for some fun and on the water or just want to enjoy some peaceful alone time on the water then I would not hesitate at all!

Super excited to get this kayak. Easily held to adults combined weight of 450 pounds. Only problem is the paddles are too short and drain a lot of water into the vessel during paddling.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and after the second season the hull wore out and now the entire dry storage area fills with water every time I use it. Not sure I would purchase another Lifetime Product.

this is our family first time having kayaks very impressed with them so far. the down side is the paddle is flat i find that a curved paddle works much better.
