I love Patrick Cudahy sweet smoked bacon but Sam’s Club discontinued it and apparently replaced it with this stuff. It baked nice and crisp, but it tasted awful-almost rancid! It definitely wasn’t salty enough either. I will NEVER buy it again! So disappointed.

Sam’s meats are always so good so we thought we’d try this bacon. Thickness of slices was okay but we must have gotten a really bad batch. We are on our second pkg, same as first, very very fatty. Maybe it’s just us, but we prefer a more meaty bacon, which we’ve found in other market brands. Not sure we will even attempt the third pkg.

I love this bacon but they have changed the packaging. I found it in one large single package this week at Sam's. The 3 packs were perfect. Last me 3 weeks. I have a feeling opening this big package will cause it to go bad before I eat it all. Wish they had kept it in 3 separate packs.

We enjoy this bacon. We like thin crispy bacon so this is great. We buy the hot El black label precooked and this. If you like thick buy the Wrights. This has excellent smoke and cure. It bakes crisp very quickly and the grease is collected got out traditional southern dishes.

If I was rating the taste of this bacon I would say it is great. The quality however is not. The bacon is so thin that you can hardly separate the pieces. It is thin enough to see through. You cannot fry it because it so thin most of it just sticks to the pan and breaks off. You have to broil it to have any success with it. I have NEVER seen bacon so thin, its thinner than deli shaved lunch meat. Most Members Mark products are great but I would say in this case you missed the mark completely.

This was my first time buying this bacon. I prefer thick slice bacon, so this package of bacon did not live up to my standards. I will say the slices were even and uniform. Three slices fit in a 12 inch frying pan nicely. I think the slices "cooked up" into inch slices and did not curl too bad. Good bacon, but I will only buy again if there is no thick slice bacon to buy.

I purchase this bacon on a regular basis. It is a great value. I like this more than other name brand bacons. The taste is good. I don't give it 5 stars due to some of the bacon strips are thin & not thick. When cooking, on stovetop or in oven, it has good quality. It does not shrink a lot. But overall: Good flavor, good quality, good value.

This used to be good bacon for a great price, but it is not the same. It is paper thin and hard to cook. I had to drain off the grease halfway through cooking because there was so much of it and it was popping all over. Does not have a good flavor. Definitely recommend skipping.

Tastes good, but could we please have 2-3 fewer slices and make it just a bit thicker? I mean there's classic cut and thin cut, but these are so thin the deli guy is jealous that he can't shave roast beef or pastrami that thin. And like someone else said, very inconsistent on the slices with some so thin I could just about see through them. But kudos to the blade sharpener, that guy deserves a raise keeping the blades that sharp.

I bought this bacon because everything from members mark has been really good. However, this was horrible. It looked ok when I checked the pack but when I got home and cooked it it was all fat and shriveled up to half it’s size. Would not recommend unless you like bad bacon.
