SAYS 1LB IN EACH PACKAGE. NOTICED I WAS SHORT BACON. I WEIGHED IT AND ONLY WEIGHED 14.9 OZ WHEN IT SHOULD BE 16 OZ! I always buy this bacon. I noticed the packaging changed and also now says sams brand. Went to make the bacon and 1 package always fills up my entire large sheet pan. I was missing 1/4 of it. Decided to weigh it and there was only 14.9oz of bacon when there should be 16oz! Changed the lable. Pay more. Get less! 😡

I have never written a review but this is definitely worth my time. First of all, this is so thin that I was almost unable to separate it to cook it. I still had hopes after that but then found it almost tasteless and "barely there" once cooked. I will not be purchasing again.

This bacon was gross. It was very watery while I was cooking it. I had never seen bacon produce so much juice that was not grease. There was little meat available. It was mostly fat. I cooked for 45 minutes and nothing crisped up. I will not be buy this again.

Great taste and value

3 pack price is excellent but sliced too thin and too fatty - get what you pay for. But main concern is I got an instant headache after eating some slices - I’m very sensitive to certain preservatives and don’t know what they use, but going to pass on this bacon going forward

We bought this and ate it Christmas week. It was a 5 star product. Lean, beautiful, crispy and delicious. I got another package and cannot believe this is the same stuff. It’s thin fat back. All fat, won’t crisp up, gross, all waste and nothing but grease. It’s a zero star product. I cannot believe this is the same brand we were raving over last week. Because of the inconsistency, I won’t buy it again. I’m not into gambling for good bacon. I want the same bacon every time so we’ll buy something else from now on.

After opening the first pack I noticed there was an over abundance of fat on one side and guessing it was at least half if not more, of the package weight. I cut it off and discarded it. Thinking the second package would be better? No, same as the first one. Again, cut it off and discarded it. I most likely will have to do the same with the third package, but I know I will never purchase this cheap bacon ever again. And there also was no consistency with the slicing. Some very thin, others the right size, normal. If you’re going to charge high prices, at least give a quality product to the consumer. If and when I open the third package I will make sure to have pics to post.

The meat is stringy. It is sliced so thin that it falls apart when trying to place it in the fryer. Not enough meat...way too much fat. Very chewy...lacks the real crunch you get with a quality bacon. Flavorless. All 3lbs had the same characteristics. Will not purchase this again!

The bacon is still really thin. Refunding prior purchases is nice but fixing the problem would be even better. My daughter's dogs have really enjoyed the bacon I have burned because it is really thin. I have cooked bacon in the oven for years; this bacon burns almost every time. I've adjusted the temp and time; unless I am standing right there opening the oven every other minute it burns.
