This is now our family's favorite bacon. We tried it because it was on sale - 3 of the 1 pound packages sold in a bundle on sale for $8.99. We were very impressed. The flavor is delicious - smokey, a little sweet and perfectly savory. It cooks up evenly. It is the perfect cut - not too thin and not thick. We like to cook ours in the oven on a lined cookie sheet and this crisps it to perfection.

The taste is very good, but the packaging is a bit flimsy. I have to freeze two of the pounds to keep it fresh since they come in three-pound packages. The pound packages are not divided well, and you tear up the flimsy packaging and you have to put it into other bags to freeze them.

Good. A little hard to cook due to the very thin slices. I like my bacon on the limp side so it was a real chalang to cook a whole pound and get it that way. If you like thin and crispy go for it. If you like limp and thick by all means avoied this bacon unless you you have a lot of time and patience!
