Bacon always tastes great, doesn't have water added like some generic brands have tried doing to add weight. The only downside is the bacon is very inconsistent in thickness, even within the same package. Sometimes it thick cut bacon, sometimes medium to thin.

The front of the package is deceiving Anne I can guarantee what you get won’t look like the picture. It’s 95% fat! I trimmed most the fat off and air fried the rest, it was barely enough to use for two Cobb salads. I’ll pay more next time for another brand that gives more meat. Not worth it and won’t buy again.

I opened one package %26 the tip of many strips were hard %26 dry like they had been sitting out for awhile. All packages were still vacuum sealed so it had to be at the processing plant. I cooked up one package to freeze for later %26 tried a strip. It had no flavor whatsoever. No smoke flavor at all %26 no cure or salt flavor just plain pork. I then cooked the other 2 packages in the oven to see if they too were flavorless %26 they were. The package said: Lot%23525953 Insp by%239999 Obviously they just made up Inspector 9999 to fill in a blank. Sam's needs to discontinue their partnership with this facility! Leaving pork out so long it air dries is not safe. Calling this Hickory smoked when there is no smoke is outright fraud. Not curing pork belly %26 selling it as bacon has to be illegal. I not only will not be buying this product again, I would like Sam's to identify this facility so I don't buy any of their products again. They cannot be safe. I had to throw this meat out.

These are nice wide strips of meaty bacon. The slice thickness is thin and crisps up easily. The flavor is just right and doesn’t taste overly salty. Each package comes with three vacuum packed packages of bacon. We enjoy it wrapped around a jalapeño popper, a slice for a burger or BLT, and of course as a breakfast protein side.

I used to buy this bacon all of the time, then the packaging was changed and the price skyrocketed. Recently, they've gone back to the 3 smaller packages, briefly lowered the price, then shortly after, almost doubled the price, which is where it sits now.

What has happened to this bacon? The packaging is terrible, you now have to cut it apart yourself and it's impossible to not break the seal on the packages. Then the bacon itself is so inconsistent. Very thin, almost all fat, looks almost like lace it's so thin. The last package we opened looked about half full, very strange and had two pieces that were so thick, like at least 1/2 inch thick. There's no quality control happening. Just pay more for the name brand. Sams - please hold your supplier to a higher standard.

I was always a Hormel bacon gal. But I was told that I should try the Members Mark bacon. So I did I will tell you now that I am a Members Mark bacon gal now. The taste is so much better and it cooks up so perfectly. Never going back to the other brand again

We tried this Member's Mark Bacon during quarantine because our usual Giant pack of Hormel Bacon was out of stock. I usually just split the Hormel up into freezer bags for each serving size. This bacon tastes good, is a little thinner, but much more convenient packaging than the hormel. I'll buy this over Hormel and Smithfield, which has a weird taste, any day. I've seen some reviews that say it's fatty or thin and I've had Hormel come out the same in the past., so it is what it is.

Since I am called a pig/cow/whale here in the good old USA due to my size, I surmise that being overweight is a cardinal sin, especially if you are old & unattractive & not a darling of the masses. But then since many are more preoccupied with the impending triple digit inflation of survival brought on by the financial leaders of this nation, I can be sympathetic to the predicament of humanity. I guess I can never be muslim or jew, since I do like bacon. My heart goes out to them, suffering such a denial.

Members Mark Hickory Smoked Bacon is a great value and tastes delicious as well! My family loves this bacon and I buy it every time I shop because it disappears very quickly at our house. I like that it cooks up well and I can usually find a package that isn't too fatty but let's face it, bacon is fatty and that's probably why we love it! But seriously, it is a very good product and never too salty like some smoked bacons that I have purchased in the past. It's on my family's regular breakfast menu!
