[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this camera last week. Its easy set up, I hooked it up to my wifi. It has three options, one is with a microSD Card Recording. Option two is Local Storage to hard drive. Both of these has no fees. Option three is Cloud Recording and it has fees. It has a two way radio, it can record audio and use the microphone in there free app. to hear and speak through your cameras. It also has a built in Spotlight. Human detection activates the bright spotlight on the camera. Also 100 ft. Night Vision. Really neat camera and spotlight together. You have to have wifi NVR or a wifi router.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome camera. The app is easy to install and the camera is easy to set up. You will need to know your WiFi password. You can take still pictures and record to your phone with the app. There is 2 way audio. We planned on using this for a stand alone camera but like it so much we will be buying more pieces. The camera has a crystal clear picture. There is a light on the camera so it can be viewed at night.

It is perfect quality and the motion light is a great feature too it also has the perfect range where I can see everything clearly. I would recommend this product to anyone looking a perfect security camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be honest I was a little worried about getting the camera set and working but it was a snap. I am very pleased with this camera and light. I am able to see well and have had no issues. It makes me feel safer and more at peace late at night. Highly recommended.

I bought this system after my last one was stolen, and was pleasantly surprised at how far security camera systems have improved. The picture on these 1080 cameras is excellent, set up was fairly easy. While the basic wifi camera has a decent angle, I much prefer the ultra wide angle camera for covering a much larger area. While this system is refurbished, I didn't notice a lack of quality, everything looked brand new. There was one problem, the HDMI outlet failed after 2 days of operation, and I was instructed to return the DVR. While it took almost 10 days to confirm my warrantee, it took even longer for Nightowl to email the return postage label. Once they recieved the damaged unit, they turned around and sent a replacement, which arrived quickly, and in good shape. I spent another 6 hours trying to remount the system, online with Night Owl agents directing. FYI, you MUST remove all your cameras and place them next to the DVR to sync them up, the DVR will not be able to find your cameras otherwise. Also, you MUST delete the previous DVR icon from the remote app before mounting the new one. This information was not known by every agent, just Thomas (so ask for him, and save yourself the headaches). Also, If you find the spotlights annoying, you can easily turn them off. My only complaint is that I wish the cameras could tilt and pan easily, but the mounting bracket is very limited, so the cameras can't be pointed in any direction easily. Otherwise I'm very satisfied with this system, it's so much better than what it replaced, and I plan to add another refurbished wide angle camera soon.

Maybe 1080p but definitely NOT producing 4K resolution. The lens inside the camera might be 4K but what you see on your monitor/app/phone is definitely not 4K resolution. It’s easy enough to blame that on your WIFI connection but I have 4K going to and from my router to 3 different streaming devices and 3 times the distance from the router than what the camera was. And even with all streaming devices off except the camera, it still doesn’t stream 4K. Bought two and returning them both. I really wanted to like these at this price point but so far I haven’t found an IP camera capable of streaming 4K. I’m guessing it’s downgraded at the sever end. Going back to a hard wired system for now.

I’ve been using nightowl for about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 years. I truly love their cameras and the systems they have. I wish there was more of a variety for the hooking up cameras to a DVR. What I mean is I wish they had a DVR that will connect ANY NightOwl Camera. So you could hook up any old ones you have and like as well. But other then that. This company is doing good things for there customers. I definitely recommend them.

The only thing they probably could of added instructions on how it works I am not to sure if I have it set right. Other than that I love it and would reccomend it to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The night owl 1080p hd wifi ip camera with built in spotlight is a great product. This camera is very easy to install and setup. It took me about 30 mins to get everything set and ready to go. The app it self is easy to install and understand. When i got everything up and ready the picture came in perfect and clear. Also the motion activated spotlight makes the picture come clear at night time. I am very pleased with this product. And best of all i have peace in mind that the night owl camera will always watch out when i am not home.
