Another top OLED TV from LG
Having owned one of LGs OLED TVs before I had an expectation that this new LG C4 OLED would be of a high quality but the step up and development over the last few years has been larger than I expected. This is really a top TV built to last a long time with a range of smart features built in. The set up of the TV is straight forward, minimal steps are required if you are using the stand, and the TV itself has a really user- friendly set up process, this guides you through user creation, picture, sound, network and streaming services. Within around 15 minutes I had set up my internet connection, signed into a host of streaming services and set up a picture profile. The TV looks very impressive, with small bezels around the edges and it does feel very much like a giant photo frame. The only slight negative is the stand, for such a large set I think a wider stand would look better, this is still fine and more personal preference. The controller is the same as many other LG’s, it is effective and simple to use with quick buttons for streaming sites such as Netflix, Prime video, Disney+ and more. If there was one downside I would say the back has a really shiny plastic and from past experience I know this scratches super easy. Not a major issue but considering the price and quality of the TV, the controller doesn’t quite match that standard. The picture quality of the TV is the real stand out. OLED TV’s always have amazingly deep black tones, and this is exactly the same with brilliant contrast. However, where this improves on previously OLED’s is the brightness, it is considerably brighter than my previous LG OLED. Allowing for better viewing, deeper contrasts and improved range of colour. Another area of improvement is the sound, this is by no means better than a sound bar or dedicated setup, however it has far greater range than previous LG TV’s and also to me seems to get much louder. The TV has a raft of built in features such as Chromecast, which is great as my partner uses a fitness app and can now cast directly to the TV without needing a dongle. LG’s webOS operating system has developed over time and again is very simple to use, with a row of your apps which can be customised to your needs. Overall, I am very pleased with this TV, Watching films and TV has never looked so good, with improved sound and all the feature proof features you will need for many years to come. I would highly recommend .
Absolutely The Best Picture Quality!
After many years of wanting to buy a OLED TV, I finally was fortunate enough to buy one. This tv is absolutely perfect. There is absolutely nothing better, (in my current opinion) then LG OLED. The picture quality is just perfect. Its like actually looking out a window and being there! I've not had this for very long, but can't see going with anything other than LG OLED!!!

LG’s C4 - An Excellent OLED TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C4 is a wonderful TV that arrives well packaged with a stand mount for those not wall mounting. Unlike LG’s G-series, which lacks this solution, the C4 includes it. The back of the TV features a speckled, brown-grey texture, adding elegance to my setup. The bezels are incredibly thin, enhancing the immersive experience. I encountered a minor setup issue where the wizard wouldn’t load the terms and conditions, and skipping didn’t work. After five minutes, I restarted the TV and used the LG ThinQ app, which, combined with the Magic Remote, streamlined the setup. Adjusting picture settings makes the TV shine, with Filmmaker mode being the most accurate out of the box. Disabling some EU-mandated energy-saving settings further boosts brightness, with warnings about increased power consumption, common across all brands. The image quality is stunning, with the OLED panel delivering infinite contrast blacks and vibrant colors. Motion handling shows LG’s investment in image processing. Although image burn-in is a concern, improvements and features like pixel shifting help alleviate fears. My previous LG OLED suffered screen burn after six years, so I hope this model fares better. Smart home features are extensive, with all major subscription packages available within the webOS software. Navigation is fast, and the Magic Remote offers gyroscopic control and traditional buttons. Physical connectivity is ample, with four HDMI 2.1 ports. The C4 supports Dolby Vision and 120Hz 4K for gamers, working seamlessly with my PS5. Sound quality is as expected from a slim panel, with average bass, mids, and highs. Investing in a soundbar is recommended. The TV remote lives up to its ‘Magic’ name, offering the best on the market with voice control and pointer mode. A downside is the screen’s reflectivity, causing glare in bright rooms. The C4’s brightness is a significant upgrade, with the LG G-series as its main competitor. Another negative is the advertisements within the operating system, which are distracting and unnecessary in such an expensive device. Overall, the LG C4 is a fantastic TV likely to serve well for years, with LG continuing to raise the bar in TV development.
Best OLED TV series ever.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having very high expectations from this TV and I can clearly say that LG OLED C4 is preforming above my expectations. Black and dark scenes are stunning, colors are perfectly saturated. Brightness of this TV is very good even in sunlight. Apps and menu is very intuitive, voice control is additional life saver when you are feeding little ones. Kids love it as well, when connected to the gaming console it is preforming as a massive gaming screen. Sound is crisp and very loud on the maximum volume, I don't think you need any soundbar with it as it's good on itself. Would definitely buy another one if only needed.
Awesome bright filthy blacks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From opening the box to getting it up on the wall it is a quality bit of kit. Pencil thin but razor sharp picture. Set up was flawless once WiFi connected. It's a wizard approach that guides you through easy enough. LGOS is superb. And the new layout plus the real estate to show it off is amazing. The magic pointer and the remote are a joy. Although I wish the remote was fully lit as I easily get lost on where the buttons are in the dark. It isn't as curved as some of the other lg I owned (this is my 4th in a row) so it's harder to know where your pinky is. Picture is flawless crisp and black blacks. I can't speak to the sound because it is connected to my old 3.1 soundbar. Kinda wished I'd tried the LG sub and sound bar too. Lots of settings to try for picture quality. I've settled for cinema as my default which seems to work perfectly on my streaming content. It's crisp and bright but also warm. Colours pop. I have only one gripe: t wouldn't let me setup Alexa and it continually thinks I've spoken to it although I haven't. It has happened twice while writing this review. I'll try and resolve these teething issues, but otherwise it's a big upgrade.
Impressive quality picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV arrived well packed and setting it up was a breeze, especially with the LG ThinQ app. The LG is also light in weight compared to my previous OLED, weighing in just under 17kg. I was sceptical of the quality of the TV that I had just unboxed- How wrong I was! The step-by-step ThinQ app instructions made installation effortless, including WiFi setup and agreeing to terms and conditions. The process of checking for and applying the software updates was seamless. Personalizing the TV with my preferred apps was straightforward. The home screen's layout was intuitive, allowing easy arrangement of apps. Adjusting settings like disabling power-saving features and configuring picture modes was hassle-free, thanks to the clear menu options. I was suprised with the jump in picture quality and sound compared to my previous OLED TV. The TV handled standard-quality broadcasts admirably, and HD content looked stunning. When 4K content was played, especially when paired with HDR, the picture quality was breathtaking. The sound quality exceeded expectations, particularly with the AI Pro feature offering an immersive experience and Gaming on the TV was truly remarkable, delivering stunning visuals. Some of the gaming visuals on this LG are absolutely stunning. The minimal bezels and slim design add a touch of class to wall mounting this 65” beauty. Without hesitation I can highly recommend this 2024 LG C4 OLED, especially in the 65-inch size. Having spent a few days with it, I'm thoroughly impressed and look forward to enjoying many more viewing experiences, looks like LG has a new fan!

However, the LG OLED65C4 has turned out to be an absolute game-changer for our family, making our disney movie nights and football (Euros) a whole new experience. Here's an in-depth review of why this TV has quickly become the centerpiece of our living room. Stunning Visuals - From the moment we switched this TV on, we were blown away by the vibrant colours and sharp details. The OLED technology, with its self-lit pixels, offers an unparalleled picture quality. The colours are incredibly vibrant and realistic, making every scene pop. My kids are particularly fascinated by the animals on youtube as they are so lifelike! For my partner, the biggest test of any TV is how well it handles sports, particularly football. The refresh rate and motion handling are superb, ensuring that fast-paced action is smooth and clear. No more blurred players or missed goals! The detail and clarity mean he can see every blade of grass on the pitch, he's been raving on obout this TV to everyone! Magic Remote - The intuitive webOS platform is incredibly user-friendly, The remote, with its point-and-click functionality, makes it fun and easy for them to use, almost like a Wii controller. Plus, the voice control feature has been a hit. Features - The Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos support create a cinematic experience right in our living room. The picture adapts to the lighting in the room, ensuring optimal brightness and contrast at all times. The sound quality is equally impressive, providing rich, immersive audio that complements the stunning visuals. Whether we're watching the latest neflix movie, the experience is nothing short of spectacular. Design and Connectivity - The sleek, modern design of TV fits perfectly in our living room. It's incredibly thin and stylish (see my pictures), making it a statement piece even when it's off. The array of connectivity options, including multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, USB ports, and Bluetooth, ensures that we can connect all our devices with ease. To summarise, the LG OLED65C4 has been a fantastic addition to our home. It caters to all our varied needs – from kids' cartoons and family movies to football matches. The stunning picture quality, impressive sound, and user-friendly features have made it a hit with every member of the family. If you're looking for a TV this is it!!
Amazing Tv
First impressions were that the packaging of this LG TV has been well thought out. Being able to remove the box leaving the tv in place to avoid having to try and pull the tv out of the box, which always feels a little precarious, is a great idea. Setup is extremely simple - literally plug and play. Settings out of the box were also surprisingly good. I like to spend time adjusting the picture settings to achieve the ideal picture for the space the TV occupies, but for someone who doesn't want to have to do that, using the Expert preset resulted in a pretty good picture right off the bat. Picture quality is excellent and the OLED technology results in perfect blacks and contrast that blows any LED TV out of the water. HDR content looks amazing and for me was one of the most impressive things about the TV and it really shows off the benefits of OLED technology. The LG C series has always stood out as an impressive TV for gaming and that hasn't changed. Extremely low input lag combined with variable refresh rate, Dolby Vision gaming, FreeSync Premium Pro and more means that it stands out as one of the best options if you're considering the TV for gaming use. Overall it's difficult to fault this TV. I'm extremely happy with the LG C4 TV. It's an excellent all-rounder that packs an amazing punch when it comes to picture quality and gaming support. I'd highly recommend to anyone considering one.
