[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always considered the LG C series to be the best value for money as far as purchasing an OLED TV is concerned, and the C4 continues to hold that title. Picture quality - as expected - is extremely good. Perfect black levels, excellent colour gamut, punchy images, and bright highlights in HDR. The TV is the brightest 'C' series yet. The TV is certainly an improvement over the C2 and C3 - both of which I have in my house at present. Whilst I think we're nearing the 'peak' of picture quality, it is still good to see we are seeing improvements in each successive generation of the C series TVs. Sound quality - I generally do not use TV for sound as I have a dedicated 5.1.2 setup, however, sound quality is decent for a slim television set. But I will always recommend a dedicated sound setup if you care about a complete AV experience. Gaming - Perfect for anyone who plays PS5/PC/Xbox games. 4x HDMI 2.1 ports up up 144 Hz (PC gamers will only really benefit from this) and VRR/G-Sync. Interface + Remote - The interface is clean and easy to navigate. I do not like to be bombarded with advertisements however. The remote works well; essentially unchanged over the previous generations. Easy to navigate with the control pointer. Negatives - No heatsink. The heatsink would bring longetivity to this panel and help protect against image retention and burn in. OLED technology will always succumb to burn in and you will have to be careful to rotate your TV habits and never to leave static images. In the perfect world, there would be ZERO burn-in for the C4. But I suspect we will need to wait for MicroLED to have OLED like picture quality without the downsides. Overall - An excellent TV. Yes the G series is technically better, but I don't think it's worth the additional price. The C series is the TV to purchase IMO.

One word describes this purchase, WOW! I've had older LG tv's in the past but this is on another level, from the design to the Web OS platform on the tv, everything is simple and easy to get you going. Unboxing process has been improved since previous gens of the OLED range with a new eco friendly packaging being added, removing was once again really easy and mounting the TV took minutes. Set up can be done on the TV itself or with a smart phone using the LG app - again took minutes to get up and running and content was on within 5 minutes. Out of the box settings are pretty accurate but always can be adjusted to suit the user, which I have done for different sources. Gaming is again fantastic and all next gen consoles working flawlessly in UHD, with Dolby Vision and buttery smooth input lag thanks to the in built game mode coming to the party! Software update was run on the tv to ensure everything was up to date from out the box, again simple to do and very user friendly. Overall, a very happy purchase from me, big thumbs up from me and my partner - we had our first movie night Friday night and was blown away - the picture in dolby vision was incredible and blows our local cinema out the window. We'll be looking forward to more movie nights and the upcoming football season starting, along with the rest of the sporting calendar. Anyone on the fence about making the switch to OLED, don't even hesitate, get involved and get ordering - you won't look back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long term owner of LG OLED TV's (C7, C1, G2 and now this C4), I can confidently say that LG have done it again. The only real issue with these OLED TV's is that they make any other TV look broken in comparison! The killer feature is the absolute black levels and picture quality, but LG also knock it out of the park in terms of features and interface. Four full speed 2.1 HDMI inputs, all the wireless inputs you would want. The best App availability and HDR picture compatibility of any manufacturer. The promise of long term OS updates is a feature that could easily be overlooked, but is going to give the G4 excellent longevity. Any negatives? Adverts should not be turned on by default on the home screen - but all brands pull tricks like that. It's approaching 10 years of the same remote design and it's not the most premium looking thing given that it is for a top tier TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed of how natural the picture quality looks like compared to my old LED TV. This OLED unit is far better in bright rooms as the brightness is quite high. The blacks are proper blacks and it’s a pleasure witching dark scenes. Haven’t tried it yet as a gaming display but will do in the next weekend and will update you. The sound quality is very good too with well balanced treble and middle range. Will be looking to upgrade with an LG Soundbar in the near future as I love listening to music.

It was very smooth sailing so far, after completeing the setup it was time to turn the TV on. They have made it so somply now to get started with the TV and activate everything with your phone. my first reaction was the screen quality, its a big improvement the colours are super rich and the blacks are strong. The AI setup they have now integrated on the TV is amazing helps map out the correct screen setting for you. was very impressed with the speed of the TV, the upgraded CPU has clearly done the job , loading apps like Netflix was very quick and now with the support of Dolby vision and Atmos the picture and sound was incredible. by far this is the best screen so far its extremely clear and the sound is amazing. i have recommended this to few friends after they have seen the screen and no doubt this is on there shopping list.

Every iteration seems to have a bump up in quality and functionality, which you only realise you need when you get the opportunity to see it in person! This new C4 range has exquisite picture quality and i am currently using it without a soundbar and i have been pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. TV is sitting on its stand on a TV Media unit, unit is sturdy and looks simple but elegant. May look to wall mount in the future and looks easy enough. When you go to an OLED you quite quickly notice the quality of the picture, in particular the contrast from the deep blacks to the vibrant colours. This is even more evident with this latest generation of OLED's from LG. Highly recommend!

The WebOS interface is quick and quite easy to navigate, though the pointer function did take a bit of time to get used to. 4K picture quality is outstanding, the deep colours and shades of black highlight the quality of the LG panel. I was also impressed with the sound quality, loud and deep for such a thin TV. Terrestrial TV also looks good with deep colours and also very good definition.  The remote control is simple and a good size to hold in the hand. It has easy to access dedicated buttons for a number of popular streaming services. The LG comes with AirPlay and Chromecast functionality already built in, very useful for sharing content from the different smartphones. Multi view is also a nice feature when you want to watch two independent sources on one large screen Console gaming is handled extremely well on this LG, the vibrancy of colours make the visuals look more solid, enhancing the gaming experience.

After using this for a week I am really amazed by its quality. Even standard HD channels look better than they did on my old TV, thanks to the excellent upscaling. The HDR support adds even more depth to the visuals, making bright and dark scenes pop.
