This cleanser is gentle and doesn’t dry out my skin and gets the oil off so my skin feels clean after washing. This cleanser should work for everyone since it works on my combination skin.

I did not notice anything special about it for clearing up acne. It's a good facial cleanser, and I would probably buy it again.

I was excited to try this foaming cleanser; however, it might be TOO gentle because it didn't remove my makeup. I tried washing with two pumps and could barely get it to lather in my hands even though we have soft water. I then tried again with 10 pumps and my makeup (foundation and mascara) still wasn't coming off. The Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub finally did the trick. I tried the cleanser again for two more days and had the same problem. It worked ok in the morning before applying makeup, but my skin didn't feel as refreshed as it did with the scrub.

Cetaphil is known for having high quality products and really giving you your moneys worth. This cleanser is awesome and cleaning my face and leaving it hydrated and feeling great. I use this daily now. I just dampen my face and pump out some of the cleanser. It is very simple to use and a little bit goes a long way. I use my fingers to work the lather into my skin, making sure to massage and cover every inch. When I'm done, I rinse and towel dry, and go. My face looks great, feels great, and I can start off every morning this same way. A win win for me!!
