Odd overpowering pepper flavor for a soup

This soup makes a quick and easy meal. I wanted to love it but in the end it was just ok to me. It has a very strange and overpowering pepper flavor. I looked on the ingredient list and see pepper sauce (which is further broken down to red pepper) which must be it. It's not "spicy" just really overpowering to me. My hubs really enjoyed it.

Where Are the Potatoes?!

I recently bought this soup and poured it in containers to freeze without really paying any attention to the soup. I have eaten two of the containers I froze and have yet to see any potatoes at all. The soup has a great taste, but WHERE ARE THE POTATOES?!
