I bought this about a month ago and have enjoyed it a lot so far. It's portability and easy of use are great, but it's far from a perfect device. Don't be confused, it needs to be used in a dark(ened) room to have an acceptable picture!. The auto keystone is almost never perfect. It gets it close most of the times, but sometimes you'll have to wobble it a few times before it's ok. I find the home page cluttered and not customizable enough. And please, Samsung, please add a function to turn off/block projection and use it as a speaker only! It has good audio and I like to use it as a wifi speaker to play music but it makes no sense to have it project during such use and waste lamp lifetime. I'm a first time projector user and this is not a device for a permanent, fixed projector setup. Since I move it around the house a lot we just project on the walls and with the keystone correction there is always significant over splash, doesn't look great but you get used to it.

I was quite taken by how such a small device can output such a wide and really good image. For presentation purposes, its the best of its kind. I love the portability and the fact I can take this anywhere.

Purchased for my annual Super Bowl party. Out on a big pull down screen in my patio and placed projector there’s. During daylight hours picture is a little washed out as e no g set in it was beautiful and clear. Sound and pic great. Easy to use hook up and stream. Also hooked up to IPhone. Love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is foremost, a portable projector: An LED projector with a Texas Instrument DLP (Color wheel) and 1080P resolution with HDR. Because it's a portable projector, it's not as bright as I hoped, so it doesn't compare with a dedicated setup, but it's very much enjoyable in a dark room. About the size of a large can, the metal base is removable and the projector is wrapped in a soft material (Skin), so it provides some protection. It's powered by USB-C, which means it can also be powered by an apropriate power bank/battery. Inputs: The main input is via Wi-Fi, and it also comes with a Micro-HDMI connector (Adapter not included). What makes this projector unique is how it automatically adjusts focus and keystone (angle of the image). It does this exceedingly well. When turning it on or anytime the projector is moved it readjusts itself. This is truly an outstanding feature in a portable projector. I can't say how impressed I am the way this works. Smart TV features: Like Samsung TVs, this uses the TIZEN interface. Also supports streaming gaming platforms like XBOX and Amazon's Luna. The projector can connect using Bluetooth to game controllers as well as Bluetooth speakers, keyboards and mouse. It Airplay2 as well as Microsoft casting and Samsung Workspace that can remote desktop to a PC or Mac (VNC) or to a Samsung phone running Dex with a keyboard/mouse connected to the projector. It does not support Chromecast.

I own numerous projectors including an expensive true 4k projector. The build and picture quality in the Freestyle is top notch. I am extremely impressed that Samsung was able to pack so much into such a small package. I enjoy the outdoors, now when sitting outside by the fire with my wife and kids we can enjoy the best of what the web and streaming services have to offer. Whether we are in the mood for a family movie, a documentary or some outdoor gaming, the Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen with Gaming Hub allows us the freedom and flexibility to take our favorite shows, pictures, documentaries, movies and now games wherever our travels may take us. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three of these tvs, and most of the time it's my young children and other family members that use it. I like that it's not too bright or not to sharp in focus, because we use it on walls. It does help reduce TV time as well as I stream because of this. Another plus is the space that you gain. We could always use one of those pop up or pull down projector screens but using it on the wall is less intrusive.

Maybe someone can help me but I've only used this a handful of times and it was awesome. Last time I used it was probably over a year ago and I just recently tried to use it and nothing will work. It won't do anything. Even from the power button on the device itself, can anyone help.

A quality speaker eliminates the need for an external speaker. And built in wifi and apps eliminates additional cables. It is smart. When I invite my neighbors for a backyard movie night, I love the way that Freestyle auto-corrects the projection angle. It gives me so much flexibility in positioning the projector It is sharp. Even with a little daylight, yhe image is clear, sharp, and bright. So we don't have to wait until it is pitch black to enjoy it. It is fun. Sometimes, kids and I lay on the floor and project the video onto the ceiling. And we also use the features for projecting holiday images outdoor, like Halloween, Christmas. And during parties, we have it playing old photos and videos in the background

We have used it for outdoor movie nights as well as watching the super bowl, playing xbox games and projecting the computer/phone to the big screen. It has been a great family favorite.
