Best hitting tool outside pitching

This is worth the price. The rubber footing keeps it in place even on cement floors. One kid can use this all day and not have to chase balls, reload machines or wait for a good pitch. You can move around and you can adjust high and low to work on pitches in different locations. You can tell how well you hit by how far it goes around or if it bounces up and down. Highly recommend for any level

Worth the investment..

This item has exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy and my 8 year old son enjoys swinging away at this thing. Set up is easy, the height is easily adjusted and the bunji cords actually stay very secured while operating and comes off easy for put away. My only complain would be about the carrying bag. It should have had rolling wheels. While packed away , i think the unit is heavy for mobility.

Quality Product

Definitely one of the better batting tees available today. Rugged and durable, well worth the money. Should last my 6 yr old for many years to come. Suggest that if you set it up in the basement to put tape on the floor to show your child where to put their feet and setup appropriately to the ball. Did this for both my 6 yr old and 3 yr old. After only a couple minutes for 2-3 times a week I've seen a dramatic improvement with their swings. Looking forward to ball season to see the improvement on the field.

This trainer was brought by a kid's dad the day of a major tourney our boy's team played in. The team put up 21 runs on the competition for that first game and then went on to run the bracket and win the tourney. I give much of the credit to the swing timing the kids developed from the short time on this trainer.

SKLZ brand sucks

I had the previous version. The bands broke and there are no replacement bands. I contacted the company and they wouldn't help me with replacement advice. Just keep that in mind when you buy this product because when they upgrade to the next model and the bands break on this model they will leave you high and dry with a $150 useless piece of metal. The product did help improve swing before the bands broke, which I thought was way too quick with an 8 year old swinging the bat. For $150 you're better off spending that money on a decent tee, a box of balls, a net, and something like the SwingRail and you'll get the same results and those products will last longer than this one.

Excellent

This is a great tool for developing skills with the younger players. My Son goes out daily to take swings. It allows me to stand near him and give instruction and help make corrections after each swing. So far it's holding up extremely well for 3 weeks and a few thousand swings.

Love it

My son is in little league baseball. He loves practicing on it. Brought it to practice so his team mates could use it as well and it helped them level out their swings also. He will be able to uses this for how ever long he decides to play. My husband likes hitting with it as well. Definitely worth the money. Assembles easily and has a carrying bag.

Highly Recommend

I purchased the Sklz hurricane for our 7-8 year old little league team to practice batting. The machine is very sturdy, easy to assemble and comes with a transport bag. We are very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend. Only draw back is it is on the heavy side. That being said I believe it is a small sacrifice for how sturdy and well built this machine is.

Helps me Relax

I previously used the Hit stick which I used to have to stand up and hold while the kids took swings, but with the Hurricaine 4 I can sit on the Bucket and give instructions. I know it's more expensive but it also allows for Reps to be taken by the hitters without any assistance of someone having to hold the hit stick for example. Easy to assemble and dissassemble, not terribly too heavy, it should last for years with my youngsters.

GREAT BUY

LOVE THIS THING. MY SON IS 7 YEARS OLD AND I CAN SEE THIS GROWING WITH HIM. BOUGHT IT AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT, BUT THE GROWN UPS HAVE BEEN HAVING JUST AS MUCH (OR MORE) FUN. THE BALL DOES WIGGLE QUITE A BIT, IN AN UNNATURAL JKMIK"PITCH" MOTION, SO YOU HAVE TO LET IT GO AROUND A FEW TIMES BEFORE YOU HIT IT AGAIN. OTHERWISE, GREAT PURCHASE
