Solidly built! Definitely worth the money on this one!

The bands come off to easily.

It helps so much with batting and having the kids keep there eye on the ball.

My son is in little league baseball. He loves practicing on it. Brought it to practice so his team mates could use it as well and it helped them level out their swings also. He will be able to uses this for how ever long he decides to play. My husband likes hitting with it as well. Definitely worth the money. Assembles easily and has a carrying bag.

Set up is simple and straight forward! My 7yo puts it together and takes it apart by himself. Repetition builds good habits, and this machine does just that! My son practices his stance, keeping his eye on the ball, swing path, and follow through. With the auto reset feature and the fact you don't have to shag balls, he gets more swing time than other machines. Now for the bad: One bungee cord is already frayed after about 12 uses. The zipper on the bag it comes in won't zip up anymore, it separates.

I purchased this item for my team during practice drills. The idea is great but the machine is not. Unfortunately when the batter takes a full swing, the rotating arm gets stuck on the return. Its looks as though the stretch bands that pull the rotating arm back to it's original position get jammed together. The machine is not perfected yet. It definitely needs to be reconstructed. It was a disappointment at any price. I Don’t Recommend this Product!

This is awesome. It really allows you to look at all of the mechanics of the batter without the worry of pitching or having to react to a ball coming back at you. The SKLZ Hurricane can be portable, but it has some weight to keep it stable and take a beating.

This product is very good. I would have to say even over engineered. It is heavy duty enough for me (35 years old) and my buddy (35 years old 6'8") to beat on. Very happy with the product. If taken care of and kept out of the elements as much as possible, it would last forever.

This gadget is exactly what I'd hoped. Really solid construction, quality, welded design, appears to be made to take a beating. I really like the design; the rubber bands/bungy thing to adjust the speed/tension is super easy, simple, effective. My boys are 9 and 7; on the lowest height adjustment, it's maybe just a tiny bit high for 9, sort of a high waist high pitch, so as he gets just a shade taller it'll be perfect. The 7...he can hit it, but it's chest high, and still works great. They love it, and I'm really pleased with it. I coach little kid baseball, and am looking forward to letting the kids have a crack at this just to help groove their swings. Highly recommended thus far, one week in (and a whole bunch of hits between us and the neighbor boys).

This product is mostly well designed and is a very useful tool for hitter training. The only drawback is that replacement power bands are NOT, repeat NOT available. Per e-mail from Customer Service these bands will NOT be sold separately. So buyer be forewarned. This is called planned obsolescence.
