This product has peroxide in it and becomes super... foamy??? Is that the proper word? Either way, it can feel very awkward. Myself and one other member in my household tried this product. We both had throat issues. My throat became very painful. To the point I had to remove the strips and rinse my mouth. My gums bled as well. The same happened to my family member. Teeth did appear whiter after one usage but that could be wishful thinking or the strip peeling off other stuff on teeth.

I have used this product before and I love it so much! It truly is the only thing that really works for me. It does burn and can cause sensitivity if you use them too often or keep them on too long, so just be careful because of that. However I think this is a great value because you get so many strips in the pack for a price that it much better than professional whitening and can be used in the comfort of your own home. I do produce a lot of saliva after using, but I like to put them on before the shower so I can easily spit out the excess. They are not too comfortable but you get used to it. My only real problem with these is that keeping them on for a full hour is a long time. However, I believe that they do sell ones that you keep on for a shorter amount of time. Definitely not as effective as the product used to be. I have used Crest whitening strips for almost 15 years and always saw great results even after just 3 or 4 days of treatment. (I usually whiten my teeth only once per year). I just bought this pack of Professional Effects and have gone through the full treatment and my teeth still look slightly yellow. Clearly Crest has reduced the quality...like every other company out there today who rips people off with 'shrinkflation.' Really disappointed.
