KM3 mud terrains are a poor design. The tread depth is already too shallow when the tires are new. The KM3 wears out too fast. Please bring back the KM2, which was better looking, lasted much longer, and performed as well or better than the KM3. I would even buy the original design KM1 again over the KM3. Until BFG changes the design, I will not buy BFG mud tires again. These KM3s are like the old KO2 all terrains. Seems as though BFG is moving away from supporting the off-road enthusiasts. If BFG eliminates the Krawler, I guess I will not be buying any BFG ever again. Not to mention these tires do not clean well and are ugly. What was BFG thinking? Avoid the KM3s unless you don't need a mud tire and are just buying for looks and in which case there are better looking tires out there, just my honest opinion.

Spent a week driving the new Jeep Wrangler JL with the new 35” KM3. Recommended psi is 40 I believe or at least that what psi was in them. At 40 a little hard & noiser. Dropped to 32 psi & loved the ride & noise was not an issue. Is did tread to surface test & had full tread coverage. Did some off road running tires @15 & had fantastic traction!

I put a set of KM2s on my 08 Tundra a few years after I bought it and they were expensive but I believe they are the best quality mud tire on the market. They are a little noisy and they don’t do great on pavement but they are outstanding when you get in the mud and the way they make your truck look is just worth it IMO. After the KM2s eventually wore down after about 50k miles I went ahead and got some KM3s and they look even better than the 2s and I feel like they are a little quieter on the highway. Not to mention the 2 sets and over 100k miles over all kinds of misquite thorns and road debris, I’ve never had a leak in any of my BFGs so far. I can’t say the same about the Michelins on my Camry or the Goodyears on my Tacoma. And don’t settle for the cheaper Taiwan made Nittos either.

I've seen a lot of reviews talking about they wear fast, I'd like to point out that for a tire to grip it must be soft, sticky compound. Yes they are gonna wear, don't expect 50k miles, Expect 20-25k tops. But let me tell you, I have never seen a tire perform so well in the mud and on rocks. These things just boss whatever I throw at it off-road. They have a great ride on-road, but off-road, aired down to 12-15psi, it's a whole other world. Such a good ride off-road aired down. The KM3's are just outright amazing. They have never let me down. Watch my video, the mud at the bottom of this water hole is texas clay, it's the slipperiest stuff known to man and these tires, man I have no idea how they do it but it just keeps going! My hummer and jeep will have BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains for life. The KM3's are absolutely awesome! Watch the video of my 7200lbs hummer h2 and my son's jeep hitting the same mud hole. I have had these tires for over six months and put a considerable amount of miles on them in six months, between driving a lot of highway miles and a lot of off-road miles they hold up. all of my wheeling buddies run other competitive MT tires and none of them grip up nearly as well, I have used them in snow, mud, dirt, and slick rock, and I have not been impressed by the competition. KM3 is my go to tire for sure. also surprisingly quite at highspeed and around town.

37×13.50s are amazing on and off road. I love the performance off road, my jeep grips better than many others. I run with vehicles that have lockers and still keep up unless it's a clearance issue. They are well mannered on the road as well. Wish I could get white letters in 37+ sizes

I have these ties on my '18 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel in 12.5x33R17. I've had these tires for a year now and put 32,000 miles on them. I've driven them on every type of terrain from hard-ball pavement (wet and dry), mud, snow, ice, gravel and everything in between. These tires have tackled everything beautifully and do especially well in mud and fresh snow (kind of a given). On ice they're great, but slide a bit. On the road they are more quiet than other mud terrains, but of course have some tire whine. The wear rate on these tires is outstanding! Like I said, I have 32k miles on these and they're still at about 50% tread left. Fuel mileage dropped significantly (26.8 mi/gal freeway down to 22.1 mi/gal) but that's too be expected. I would recommend these tires to anyone.

We replaced our aging K02's in Oaxaca, Mexico with a set of KM3's and they took us exploring offroad through the jungles of Central America to the great Paracas sand dunes of Peru to the Bolivian and Brazilian Amazon jungle. Had enough tread to make it back to the USA. Shocked they lasted that long on our heavily loaded Land Cruiser.

Love the tire off road, performs excellent and absorbs a lot of shock and impact. They are heavier and mileage has decreased. I’ve had them since 2019 and have put @ 15k miles on them. Still holding at 70% tread life. Rotate every oil change. Here’s the kicker; they are squirrelly on the freeway and like to wander the lane. They can be a bit wishy washy if you have to abruptly lift off the throttle. I’ve put BFG on all my cars and trucks for near 20 years and always will. I think when these go, I’ll back down to the AT’s. Lastly, I did buy a fifth spare MT so I’ll be offloading a new MT to swap to AT’s. Love the tire, off road they are king, on road you need to be ready to provide extra driver input.

I bought 35x12.50r17 almost a year ago. Two tires wore out horribly and uneven. The other two are half tread or better. I installed all new suspension in shocks a month prior to installing my tires. Rotated every oil change. Was not pleased with the wear of those two tires. Have since sold them to try and make my money back for another set. I just ordered 39x13.50x17 for my truck now and they’re on indefinite back order. Really liked the look and performance, so I went with the KM3 again in a larger size. I hope these ones wear fine, and are put into production soon!
