Came from KO2's

I've had these for about 10,000 miles now and they still look new. I came from 285/70/17 KO2's in E load range on my 4Runner, and I've got the same size and also E load of these now. I had the KO2's for 60,000 miles and would absolutely recommend those to anyone who is on the fence about them. But, for what I use my vehicle for, I decided to try mud terrains on my daily driver. I was very anxious about that, and oh man. These tires are perfect. They ride smoother than my previous tires, and somehow my road noise is a bit less also. They are fantastic on road, but off road is a night and day difference. I absolutely love these tires. I would 100% recommend.

Worst on winter driving with snow and wear

Good in mud and loose soil. Terrible in snow and always get irregular wear well before the tread is used up, even with frequent rotation and alignments. These wear my second set and I will not be purchasing a third set and going with a competitive tire company.

Out performs every other tire

I have had these tires for over six months and put a considerable amount of miles on them in six months, between driving a lot of highway miles and a lot of off-road miles they hold up. all of my wheeling buddies run other competitive MT tires and none of them grip up nearly as well, I have used them in snow, mud, dirt, and slick rock, and I have not been impressed by the competition. KM3 is my go to tire for sure. also surprisingly quite at highspeed and around town.

Still going at 40k

I drive a 2017 Chevy Colorado ZR2. I got a set of the BFG Mud Terrain tires at around 31k miles in June of 2020 as a replacement of the awful stock tires. I was having sidewall punctures with the wimpy p-metric stock tires they put on these new trucks these days. I am at 80k and still have a bit of life in them. I run them in mud, rocks and heavy gravel. A bit noisy but that’s to be expected . I won’t trust anything else. I’ve always used BFG tires beginning in the late 90s. Mostly the KO all terrains. I’ve seen them evolved over the years. I also ran the older kM2 tires on a Chevy 2500HD. I’ve owned Land Rovers, Chevy trucks and others and have always insisted on BFG all terrains and or the mud terrains. Best tire out there!

Not as advertised

I bought a full set of 5 for my Rubicon. I went with the LT315/70R17/ E 121Q tires. I wanted 35 inch tires and the Goodrich website stated these tires at 34.4 inches. I thought that was close enough. Got my tires and drove them for a bit and then thought I would just check the tire height. Imagine my surprise when I measure them fully inflated (37psi) at 33.0 inches even. Not even close to the 34.4 stated on the website. Love the tires, but wanted the tire height.

Tough Tires and Supports the Community

During Moab Easter Jeep Safari BFG sets up a BFG Garage where there own mechanic team helps people with broken rigs get back on the trail, its an awesome way to support the event. Because of this, I was able to get my Jeep back on the trail during the event. Because BFG is always supporting the offroad community and makes a phenomenal product I just bought my second set ofI bought BFG tires. I had previously run KO2 and just bought these in a 37" for my Jeep JLUR. Great grip and very tough.

Love them upgraded form bfg a/t

I am really blown away by these I always heard M/T tires are loud, nope not these pretty quiet even for a jeep. Love the performance, the durability and hope it lasts as long as mine A/T tires did. All I need now is a matching spare. I have these mounted on 15inch and can easily air down to 12psi without worrying about breaking a bead. These rode so nice I would recommend these tires to everyone, especially if you have a Jeep the road noise is almost non existent. And man these look great also.

Best mud tire on the market

I put a set of KM2s on my 08 Tundra a few years after I bought it and they were expensive but I believe they are the best quality mud tire on the market. They are a little noisy and they don’t do great on pavement but they are outstanding when you get in the mud and the way they make your truck look is just worth it IMO. After the KM2s eventually wore down after about 50k miles I went ahead and got some KM3s and they look even better than the 2s and I feel like they are a little quieter on the highway. Not to mention the 2 sets and over 100k miles over all kinds of misquite thorns and road debris, I’ve never had a leak in any of my BFGs so far. I can’t say the same about the Michelins on my Camry or the Goodyears on my Tacoma. And don’t settle for the cheaper Taiwan made Nittos either.

Out of round

Bought these in Feb. finally put on and have less than 100 miles on them. Out of round. Jeep wobbles. Contacted bfg. Being replaced but still won’t be able to drive my Jeep again for another 1-2 months. Going back to Nittos. Never an issue with those.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Tnjeeper. We would recommend getting a tire inspection at an authorized dealer. Please have the dealer contact us at 866-866-6605 to report their findings.
