Used umbrella on the beach and the aluminum pole bent and broke in half. Did not hold up at all for our vacation.

Held up well under heavy wind, however we did also have to use an anchor system we purchased elsewhere

This is a great umbrella. easy to open and put back, it's big enough to cover two chairs with shade.
